Extra Chapter 2

Since I got my progress report, I really needed to get my grades up.

"Brad, from now on, you're going to be taking a lot more care of Annabelle than I am because I really need to take time to study more."

"Um, Allison, I go to school too, I need time to study too."

"Ok well your grades weren't as bad as mine."

"Whatever."

He got up and walked away. I felt awful.

It was almost bed time, and Brad and I still weren't speaking.

I put Annabelle to sleep then I got in bed.

Brad sat next to me, but I layed down and turned the other way.

"Allison, come on." he said.

"What?"

"You can't keep being mad like this."

"Yes I can."

"Please don't be , I'm sorry."

I didn't say anything.

"Darling, I love you." he said, "and I'll help out with Annabelle more while you study."

"Really?" I said.

"Really."

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too."

We kissed and then went to bed.

About a month later, we got our first report cards of the year.

Brad and I both wanted to open ours at the same time.

"Ok are you ready?" I said.

Annabelle was sitting sitting by us, smiling.

"I'm ready." he said.

We tore the envelopes open and we looked at our report cards.

I got up and screamed.

"All A's and B's!" I yelled.

He laughed, "A's, B's, and couple C's."

"That's still good." I said, then I kissed him.

"See? We're handling school and having a baby real well." he said.

"Yes, we sure are."
