Chapter 18

I was at the doctors office.

"So are you happy to be out of school?" Dr. Johnson asked me.

"Yeah, it's so good to finally have a break."

"That's good."

She weighed me.

"140 pounds." she said.

I was really big now.

"You're going to deliver your baby very soon, so you're 34 weeks now, right?" she asked as she checked her clip board.

"Yes."

"Oh, ok."

After a few more tests , she said, "ok , your baby is positioned head first, perfect for delivery."

"That's good." I said.

"Alright Allison, we'll see you again very soon, goodbye."

"Bye Dr. Johnson."

I left the office and waited for my mom to pick me up. Brad didn't come with me this time , he slept in today.

That night , I could not sleep at all even though I was extremely tired.

Brad and I have been saving up to go buy some baby stuff pretty soon.

I had about $200 saved up. My parents were also going to go buy a lot of our stuff.
