It was Annabelle's 2nd birthday. We arranged another party for her just like last year.
Bethany and Mary Jane came over with their sons.
"Alli, guess what?" said Mary Jane.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Well, since Mary Jane and I don't have boyfriends to help raise our babies, we've decided to get an apartment together near our college." said Bethany.
"That's great." I said.
After that, we did the usual kid's birthday stuff: eating dinner (which I cooked all by myself, with a little help from my mom), having cake, opening presents, and just chatting with everyone.
