"you're so cute, Sakura-sensei"

"How adorable you are, Sakura-sensei"

"Thank you.."

She received endless comments about her beauty from one of her students at the medical ward in the hospital. Everyday it would be something new.

To be completely honest, she was a bit unnerved by this much attention.

Of course, she wasn't going to let it get under her skin, she was a professional after all.

After a short leave of absence, due to a lack of sleep (a call made by Naruto and ino), she decided to return without their permission. Again, she was a professional.

Leaving for a cause like a lack of sleep wasn't good enough for the pink-haired kunoichi.

Soon Sakura got her things and made her way to the door.

As soon as she opened it, what was there suprised her.

Large boquets of flowers from ino's shop was there. She took her time to read each of the cards.

All of them said three words, I love you.

She believed it was the wrong adress, maybe it was some kind of mistake, but there was no way 20 boquets were delivered to the same house for a week.

She left the flowers there, hoping someone would come and get them. Her neighbors said they had no clue who's they were, even her parents had not seen whom had delivered the flowers.

As she stood pondering, her thoughts were interrupted by her bright spirited friend and teammate, Naruto.

"Sakura-chan!" He called to her. She waved back at him.

"Naruto, how are you? How's Hinata?"

"We're fine, she's fine, come with me!"

He pulled her away from her house and towards the hokages office.

Naruto rushed right in, Sakura paused at the door to bow.

"Hello kakashi-sensei" once she looked up, her emrald green eyes met a mismatched pair.

"Good morning Sakura, have you had a nice break?"

Sakura snapped her attention to kakashi.

"That's right! I was supposed to go to the hospital!"

Sakura heard a slight chuckle, or maybe it was a grunt, coming from her other teammate.

"Make sure to give Sasuke a check up as well and also could you check his mission report, I have quite a bit on my hands already and shikamaru is running errands"

Kakashi nonchalantly dismissed the three.

Sakura felt her heart skip a beat, naruto on the other hand was grinning like an idiot.

"We should go get ramen later! Just like old times!" He said excitedly.

"I have work to do Naruto, besides, doesn't Hinata want to have dinner with you? You shouldn't leave her alone" Sakura replied sighing and glaring at him.

He scratched his head for a moment before replying,

"I'll invite her too!"

Sakura sighed and waved Sasuke over to her,

"This way, sasuke-kun"

Sasuke silently followed, moving quietly, his eyes on Sakura's back.

"So is it a yes!?!" Naruto called after her.

"Yes,Naruto!" She called back. She could hear his excitement as he ran home to tell the hyuga of his plans.

When they reached the hospital, Sakura removed the key from her pocket and opened the door.

Her office was neat to say the least. What caused her to almost scream was the red words on the floor, ceiling and walls.

Sakura ran her finger over one of the words and turned to Sasuke, who looked around suspiciously.

"It's... blood" she whispered.

Each of the words said the same thing over and over.

Sakura-sensei it's so lonely here without your beautiful scent and your presence please come back soon so I may show you more of my love! I would do anything for you, ANYTHING AT ALL MY LOVE! You're mine, mine, mine mine, mine!

It was written everywhere. Even in the bathroom, in blood. Sakura had a sudden wave of vertigo and almost fell. She leaned into someone's chest and was surprised to see that Sasuke had caught her. Again.

That same position had made her heart flutter once before.

"Who, did all of this?"

Sakura wanted to answer. But she herself felt unsure, she didn't want to believe that one of her students did this. But she may have to.

"Sasuke.. let's finish the report later. I have to clean this up."

He nodded and after she was steady,  Sakura saw him clench his fist then, he turned and walked out of the hospital.

Sakura closed the door silently and looked around.

"Why?"
