I Wouldn't Miss It

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I got really busy! But I'm about to get even more busy again, but I'll make sure to still post. Here's this part- enjoy! :) 

It was the Friday before graduation, and things were coming along nicely. You planned out what you were going to wear, what you were going to do. You, Lily, and Matt had finished your duties for graduation committee. There was going to be a dance after the ceremony, and that was supposed to be big.

"So, do you have a date to the dance?" Lily asked wriggling her eyebrows.

"Nope." you chuckled.

"Awe, why?"

"Well, I mean I'm me. There's no one here who has asked me, and the one guy I wanted to ask me, just used me for followers." you said looking down.

"Oh, that's right. I'm so sorry about that."

"It's okay. I mean he doesn't deserve me, right?"

"Right. You know the one person who does deserve you?"

"Who?"

"Tom Holland." she laughed and you did too.

"Now, that's a dream."

"Eh, you never know."

"I have some hope, but it's not too high."

"You will."

"Sure. Now, what about you and Matt?"

She spit out her drink. "What?"

"Oh come on, I'm your guy's best friend. I can tell the difference between when you guys are joking and flirting."

"We... never flirt..."

"Mhm, sure. Here hold this." You handed her your phone. She started recording. "I, Y/N Y/L, call that my two best friends, Lily and Matt, are going to end up together. And one day get married and have an awesome life." 

"You call that?"

"Yes. You called it for me and Tom, so why not?"

"Okay, I get your point." she laughed.

You shook your head and laughed too. "Right? Now, come on I have to go to the store."

"Why?"

"For Hot Cheetos."

"Hot Cheetos?"

"Mhm, I have a feeling I'm gonna be the bride who gets Hot Cheetos on her dress."

"I don't doubt it." she said smiling.

You guys met up with Matt and all went shopping for Hot Cheetos.

You woke up on Saturday early. You had a feeling that today was going to be one to remember. You got ready because you had to be at the school for a yearbook signing, and to practice what you were going to do that night. You were brushing your teeth when you heard your phone go off. You finished and went to see who it was. You had four new messages. They were from Tom, Lily, Matt, and Jake.

Jake :/

Hey, Y/N, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you like that. I know this is like the thousandth time I've texted you. I shouldn't have said anything.

You rolled your eyes and ignored him. He hurt you because he's been your crush since the 6th grade. You left him on read.
