Don't You Think I've Tried?

Guys, Tom's birthday is tomorrow (it could already be June 1st, depending on where you live :))  and I can't believe he's turning 22! It was just like yesterday that he turned 21. I just hope that he has a great birthday, he truly deserves it!! :')

You were still in shock when you got up and walked over to him. 

"What are you doing here?"

"Oh, it's simple Darling," he said smiling, "I came to see how all of you are doing. I heard you and Tom got into a pretty bad car accident and it appears you did." he looked down at yours and Tom's casts.

"Well, that's very nice of you, but I think we're fine." You turned and starting walking away.

"Really? But I heard that Tom lost his memory. He doesn't remember you, does he?"

You stopped and turned around. "How the heck do you know that?"

He smirked and looked at Emma. She was talking and holding Tom's hand.

"She told you all of this." you rolled your eyes and looked down. "Look, thanks for the concern, but we aren't charity cases. You can't stroll up in here and expect everything to be fine. Tom may not remember what you did, but I certainly do."

"I know, and I'm truly sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I really liked you, which is why I'm here. When I thought you might have died, I was crushed inside. But what do you say, can we start over and be friends?" he held out his arms, expecting a hug. 

"What kind of apology is that? Look, I don't know if you've truly changed, but after what you did, no we can't be friends. You hurt me and caused Tom and I so much trouble. So I'm sorry, but I won't be your friend."

He dropped his hands and started at you. You turned around and walked back to the table. Harrison saw you and smiled. You smiled back.

"Everything okay?" he whispered to you.

"Yeah. Just keep an eye on him." you said looking at Danny.

"Sure thing." 

You both smiled and started to eat your dinner. Tom kept looking at Danny, as if he was going to confront him. You gave him a confused look, but he just smiled and looked at his food. 

The time went by pretty fast. It was sunny, but you noticed it was getting cooler. Harrison gave you his coat so you wouldn't be cold. You appreciated it.

Within a matter of ten minutes, it had started to snow. Drizzling at first, but then it came down harder. Everyone started to leave, but you guys stayed. You all brought extra clothes for any occasion, so you changed and stayed where you were. You all ended up having a snow ball fight. It was fun, and it made you happy to see Tom happy. 

Harrison had pulled out his phone and recorded you and Tom fighting. None of you knew this, but that was the whole point. He was laughing while you two were trying to dodge snow. 

"I should go see what's happening." Emma said starting to walk towards you and Tom.

"I don't think so. They're perfectly fine having a snowball fight." Harrison said.

"Really?"

"Yes. Look how happy the both of them are."

"Are you sure about that? I mean he has to see her as a stranger and nothing else."

"Tom will get his memories back. And once he does, he's gonna go straight for her and not you. Because once again you're just using him."

She glared at him. "Aren't you the one that actually kissed her?"
