Are Your Feelings Real?

Hey guys! So really quick I just wanted to say that the first chapter of the other book is up! So go show your love! It's under GCW_16, and if you do, thank you so much! But also I'm also here to say some things😂 First, I have the chance to update real quick on a computer instead of my phone and holy cow I miss it! But that means I was able to put up a gif for you guys! So enjoy that gif of Tom. ❤️Second, I'm going to be going back to school (literally like tomorrow) so I may not update as much as I have. I promise I'm gonna try and update fast, or like usual, but if I don't, that's why! Anyway, let's get to this part. I'm sure you'll be much happier with this part. 😏😂

You were about to say something until you saw Lily push him away. You were confused. 

Wasn't she just kissing him?

He gave her a confused look. "What was that for?" 

"For kissing me." she said and wiped her mouth. "What the heck is wrong with you?!" 

"What? I thought you liked me."

"Yeah, in like the third grade! Not now."

"I mean Y/N did."

"Exactly. I never did. And you have no right to bring Y/N into this."

"Oh but I do. That bi-"

"Say that word about my best friend and my fist goes straight for your teeth."

His eyes widened. "You wouldn't really do that. Come on we had such a good connection when it was just you and me. Y/N wasn't there. We were falling for each other."

She laughed. "First of all, don't doubt me, I will punch you. Second of all, I was trying to set you up with her. So if anyone did the falling it was you for me. Because I never liked you that way."

"Ouch that's harsh. But come on I KNOW you have to have some sort of feelings for me." he leaned in closer to kiss her but she slapped him.

"What did I tell you? I don't want to kiss a scumbag like you. You're a jerk, used my friends, and oh yeah, YOU'RE WORKING WITH EMMA AND ALL OF OUR ENEMIES."

You smiled. She would never kiss Jake, she couldn't do that to you. The way she was talking to him made it obvious that she didn't try anything.

"Well..." he looked up and saw you.

Crap.

"Y/N?" he asked. Lily turned around.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?"

"Looking for you..." you said.

"Shoot. How much did you see?"

"All of it. Including the kiss."

"Y/N I-"

"Don't worry Lily. I know what happened. I heard everything too. You're my best friend and I know wouldn't do that to me."

"Exactly. I couldn't do that."

"Good." you smacked her arm.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"For giving me a heard attack. I walk up and it looks like my best friend and ex crush were kissing."

"Hey, that's all of him. He just said he needed to talk- I never planned that gross kiss."

You smirked and then looked at Jake. 

"You really can't take the hint can you?"

"What hint?"

"That no one likes you like that. You're a jerk. Hello just look at your nose!"

You saw him reach up to his nose. "Yeah you broke it."

"Yeah. Because of all your ways and you came charging towards me. You're lucky it was me and not Tom. I don't know what he would have done but I can assure you it'd be worse." you said.

"What? You think that you're little boyfriend, Tom Holland, is gonna protect you?"

"He shouldn't have to all the time. That's why I stepped in. I could finally make you weak. I can't believe I ever liked you."

He opened his mouth to say something but then closed it.

"I can't believe both of you. I had you guys wrapped around my finger. Especially you." he said point at you.

"You know what, you did. But, I untangled myself. But do you wanna know all you're ever gonna be?" you asked.

"What?"

"A sad football player who's dream didn't come true, so you followed your girlfriend to come torture people from school. You don't have your clique to protect you anymore. You aren't getting that attention, so you're looking for ways to have that again. And sure, we weren't super popular.But that's good  because we know how to live on our own without it. That's something you'll never have."

You took a deep breath. You couldn't believe you actually said what you said. You smiled and remembered what you told yourself: you weren't going to get pushed around anymore.

You and Lily walked away back to the hotel room.

"Y/N that was amazing! I'm so proud of you that you stuck up for yourself. I can't believe you said all that!"

"Thanks! But look at you! You slapped him and told him off. Double wammy."

You guys laughed and walked into the room.

"Love, there you are. I was about to go find you and her." Tom said giving you a hug.

"Awe, well we're here now. We had something we had to deal with first." you said, but your voice was muffled due to Tom's shirt.

"What was that?"

"Oh you know, Jake kissing me." Lily said nonchalantly. Everyone stopped.

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah. I found her and they were kissing, but it was mostly Jake doing that, because Lily pushed him away and then slapped him." you said. 

"Dang!" they all said.

"Wait, he kissed you?" Matt said. You noticed that his hands were in fists and his jaw was clenched. 

"He did. But it was gross and like she said, I pushed him away. The nerve of him." she said and rolled her eyes.

Matt's eyes softened, but his hands were still in fists.

Hmmmmm

After telling everyone more details of the story, you decided that you should play a board game. As you were playing there was another knock on the door. 

"I'll get it." Lily said.

"Try not to let anyone kiss you this time." you called out.

"Haha very funny," she said and opened the door.

You guys couldn't tell who was behind it or what was happening, just Lily yelling.

"NO! I'm not going out there you scumbag, leave me alone!" She yelled. You all got up to see and you saw Jake behind the door.

"You again?" you said.

"This doesn't involve you. I need to tell her something about... um... Emma but she won't come out here!"

"Yeah because you'd tellus secrets about people on your team. NO." 

"Just come on." he grabbed her hand. 

"I don't want to!" she said.

Matt came up beside her. "She said she doesn't want to, leave her alone man."

The tone in his voice was something you've never heard before. You were scared.

"Or what? What will happen if I don't?" he said and pulled her wrist this time.

"STOP you're hurting me!" she said. 

In that moment, you saw something happen in Matt's eyes and again his jaw was clenched. 

"This." he said. Just like that in one swift move, he got Lily out of Jake's grasp, moved her to all of you, and punched Jake in the face.
