Recently I have been thinking. I think I love Finn. I haven't told anyone apart from Sadie. She told me I should just go for it and tell Finn because he definitely loves me but I'm just not sure.
I remembered the thing Finn told me when I first met him.
"You can't fall in love at 14 years old. I fight against it."
The thing is, Finn isn't 14, he's 16. I'm nearly 15 so would he think it's stupid if I loved him? After all I'm still 14 for another week.
I needed to tell him.
Even if he didn't feel it back.

I walked to the diner and sat down, then about 5 minutes later Finn turned up, he sat opposite me and smiled. We both got chocolate milkshakes, then I decided it was time to tell him.
"Finn I need to tell you something." I said, seriously.
"Okay.." he said, a bit worried. "The last time someone said that to me they told me my brother and dad had passed away so can you tell me if it's good or bad?"
"It's definitely not half as bad as the past news, no." I smiled a little.
"Okay, thank gooood!" He said, exaggerating the word god.
"I love you." I blurted out.
"What?" He asked, eyes wide.
"I'm sorry it's stupid." I said, standing up and walking out.
Before I could turn the corner I felt arms around me, hugging me. It was Finn, I could tell by the cologne.
"I love you too, Millie." He said, kissing my head.
I smiled wide and hugged him again.
We spent the rest of the day in my room watching 13 reasons why, eating ice cream and candy while trying to take a nice selfie, then we finally got one even though Finn wouldn't smile. So I uploaded it to Instagram, our second ever selfie together. Finn also uploaded one we took earlier.
