Reaching kattegat

We were riding down the hill, to the beginning of Kattegat.
People were looking at me like I was some red piece of meat and yet with so much respect. I got down from my horse.
There he stud. In front of me.
His blue eyes, so deep. I wish I would be able to describe them but it was impossible. They were full of everything I ever wanted.

I had been waiting. For Hvitserk to come back with the woman who was bearing my child. The woman I wanted to hold.
Her light red lips, that tasted like sweet summer. Her eyes that showed the whole world with every little detail.
Hvitserk had promised me to get here as fast as possible. But what if she didn't want to come? What if she didn't want me?
All those thoughts disappeared when I heard horses. I went outside as fast as I could. It was not the easiest to do with metal on my legs but I was getting stronger and faster.
How should I approach her? That does not matter. She came. To me. With the child.
I took a deep breath before walking towards her. She didn't see me immediately but when she looked up our eyes meet.
After, what felt like hours, a smile formed on her lips.
The emotions, I would never allow to show, came. I pulled her in. For our most passionate kiss we have ever shared.
I wanted everyone to know that she was mine.
My woman. The mother of my child. My queen.

After getting her stuff in my cabin and the horse to the barn, we went down to the Ocean, were she had walked before.
It was getting cold. The winter was coming.
We sat down, her head resting on my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" I had to ask her. I wanted her to be glad to be here, with me and she shouldn't miss a thing, I would make sure of that.
"I think so."
I kissed her hair. "Oh my..." she looked up to me. With questions In her eyes.
„You just turned my whole world woman."
A beautiful, soft smile formed on her lips.
I just wanted to enjoy my time I had right now, with her.
