Lilith's P.O.V

My heart was racing and my brothers blood had dried on my hands. I had to face the reality. I had to face my people.
would they hate me, for killing my own brother?

I walked through the dark empty halls, up to the huge balcony. "My highness." A guard bowed, when he saw me. "blow the horn." I commanded. as soon as the loud, numb sound shattered through the air, people started walking out of their houses, gathering by the marketplace. they saw up to me. they looked at my blood covered dress. they looked at the knife in my hand.

"Your king is dead!!!" I announced. everything was quiet. even the wind stopped howling.

"the king is dead, gods protect the queen!!!" they suddenly yelled. throwing their hands up in the air, in happiness.

now I knew where i belonged.

Ivar's P.O.V

she was gone and I wasn't sure she would come back. we were never meant to be together anyway. we were cursed. both of us. oh, my young son. you are cursed too. what to do? what to do? Johann was sleeping in the small crib, looking so peaceful. how could I even consider my thoughts. I'm a bad man. always was, always will be. I cant change who I am, but I can change who he is going to be.

I took the sleeping boy into my arms. holding him for the last time. oh, how I loved him... "I will see you again my son." I whispered into his ear, kissing his forehead. he was making me weak.     
I knew I was ruining all of my happiness. everything good in my life. but this wasn't the end. I would put back my family in a few years. Johann will grow up, happy. with out a mother who left and without a father who...is a monster....

Lilith's P.O.V

I was standing in front of a thousand people. soldiers, kids, citizens. "My name is Lilith and I have killed my brother, your king... I can't deny that I loved him, because I did. I loved him, but what he did, couldn't be apologized. he banished me out of this land. He killed innocent people. He send brave soldiers to die. and I'm so sorry... he wasn't a bad man, he was addicted. addicted to power. and I'm sorry. I'm sorry, that you have lost loved ones. I'm sorry, that I just came now. I'm sorry, if you hate me, but I'm back and I'm your queen!!!" people started clapping, sheering. "Odin protect the queen." they yelled before gliding down on their knees. I took a deep breath.      
all I wanted, I now had.
and all I had to do was kill my brother.
