Sasukes little rose

Prologue

(A little note; this is sorta what the character looks like. No I don't own these pictures, just Mai and and some extra things I added within the story. Please enjoy)

'I'm so late!' A young sasuke thought while running home, the bright moon lighting his way to the compound. "Mums going to kill me! Plus I need to help Mai with her training!" Sasuke said aloud as he ran through the gates.

He was only 7 and nothing could prepare him for the day that he'd come home to see his neighbours and friends lifeless flooding the streets with their bodies. Panic grew within him as he thought of his family especially his younger sister Mai.

Sasuke ran through his already opened front door. His heart sped up, breathing heavily he called out. For someone anyone of his family, but nothing. Complete and dead silence. Not even the crickets could be heard. He went to Mai's room to see it the way she's always kept it, spotless. He felt tears prick his eyes, he can't loose his sister and his brother.

He ran into his parents room only to stop dead in his tracks. There sat his sister covered in blood, barely conscious and crying softly. It looked like she had something in her lap so sasuke quietly went up and almost dropped to the floor. There they were, his parents lifeless eyes with tears still sitting on their cheeks.

"Sa*hic* t-they're dead" Mai said as she cried harder turning to Sasuke and crying into his chest. Sasuke could only stare at his parents patting his sisters back while thoughts were running though his mind faster then he could catch onto one.

"Itachi! Who did this?" sasuke said noticing his brother in the back of the room nearly completely hidden. "N-ni san?" Mai said turning to itachi. What they didn't know was when Mai said that, Itachi almost wanted to forget his plan and grab them both and run away. But he made a promise, and he had to stick to it. He bit down onto his tongue. "Foolish siblings, you think someone else did this? Wrong, I did." Itachi said forcing himself to look into Sasukes eyes instead of Mai's. He couldn't stand the look of fear she had for him.

"W-what why?! Why did you do this!" Sasuke said as he looked up at him, anger clear on his face. Itachi looked at his younger sister just one more time before he decided to answer, in mistake he did and noticed she had unlocked the sharingan. He held back the shock and wanted to examine it further. He flashed to his sister and grabbed her by the chin, forcing her eyes on him. What amazed him was instead of tears now there was blood. She didn't seem to be in pain and her eyes were unlike any he's seen before. He felt like he could just disappear into her eyes and to never return.

Sasuke not liking how he was hurting his Mai went to attack Itachi to be only pushed away and knocking Mai out, causing her to Yelp before complete silence. "Why you-" Sasuke yelled, not able to contain his hatred that he has grown for his brother. "Listen up dear brother, I killed father, mother and the rest of the clan so I could reach the next level of the Sharingan. You will foster your hatred and get revenge. Until then silly brother" Itachi said before putting Sasuke under a genjutsu. One he never wanted to see.
