Zabuza moves to the body of water as he did some signs for the hidden mist jutsu, Kakashi and I smirked when we both copied his jutsu. Kakashi disappeared while I did signs signs for my wind jutsu "Wind Style Gust Jutsu" I murmured blowing into my hand and blowing the mist away as Kakashi had blue lightning around his hand.

Kakashi and Zabuza released a lot of blood lust which caused Sasuke to hold a Kunai to his chest, I transported over to him to stop him while Kakashi said "SASUKE! Calm down! I will protect my comrades, even if it costs me my life" I looked at Sasuke and smiled at him but he turned away. The frown now plastered on my face as he walked back near Sakura and Tazuna.

"Your wide open" a voice behind me said, startled I turn around but it's too late. I felt his large sword go through my abdomen, I coughed out blood. "MAI" voices yelled, one was louder but I couldn't register who. I turned to Sasuke, a weak smile on my face. 'I'm sorry Sasuke' was all I thought as he pulled his sword out and kicked me into the water. I looked up, remembering this feeling from graduation. Maybe Sasuke won't come get me this time, I've lied to him this whole time. I wouldn't dare blame him, I'm sorry Itachi, Sasuke I couldn't keep your promises.

I closed my still sharingan eyes, still relived how warm it is. After what seems like forever I felt disturbances in the water, 'how am I not dead yet?' I thought to myself. 'I'm not ready to die yet brat' a deep voice said as I felt someone grab my body and begin swimming to the surface. 'Do you know who got me?' I asked hoping it's Sasuke. 'Don't know nor do I care brat' the voice said again. Before his presence disappeared again.

"Mai! Mai! What ——————-" I couldn't quite understand, who was talking? 'Idk who it is but they want to know the signs for medical jutsu brat' he came back again to only disappear. I worked up the courage to whisper " T-Tiger (sharp inhale) boar and Tig-" I couldn't finish it as I felt my consciousness fade in and out. I tried to move my hands in the signs, I felt someone helping. 'Was it Sasuke?' 'Isn't he mad at me?' I felt my hands on the wound and hissed in pain "sorry Mai" the voice said, I smirked at whoever it was and whispered "Medical Jutsu"

I felt chakra surge to my hands and felt the wound feel a bit fuzzy. I smirked before saying "well looks like imma live" causing someone to hit me in the shoulder. "Baka" the voice said whom this time I recognised. 'Sasuke..' "what of cowman?" I said holding back a giggle, "Some kid our age killed him with some senbons" Naruto said seemingly annoyed.

"Wait senbons?" I asked, I love those weapons they are useful and powerful if hit in the right spot. "Yeah he threw them at his neck! It was so cool! Kakashi felt his neck and there was no heartbeat!" He seemed a bit excited then but I couldn't bring myself to be happy. I was thinking back to the book of human bodies, I was cut off when I noticed my wound was healed enough and was running low of chakra. "Is someone able to grab a bandage from my bag? Please" Sasuke instead just grabbed his from his bag and got me to sit up.

He shooed everyone away while getting me to lift my shirt up a bit while he wrapped my abdomen. "Sasuke I-" "Don't, I mean you had a reason for hiding it from me right?" I nodded while looking down. "Did you plan on telling me?" He said as he got up and held his hand up. I gladly took his hand and said "of course I did, Your my brother Sasuke and never forget that you mean the world to me" he smirked and said "Hn"

We walked well Sasuke did, I hobbled so slowly over to the group. "Sorry for the worry guys" I said rubbing my back. "We were worried Mai, Believe it!" Naruto said while Kakashi, Tazuna and Sakura nodded. "Gomen Gomen" I said with a cheeky smile. All of a sudden Kakashi collapsed on the ground, I shook my head. He's not an Uchiha so he's body isn't ready to use the sharingan. My eyes were beginning to blur, I rubbed my eyes but the blur just wouldn't go away. "Sasuke, there's something wrong with my eye" I opening my eye once again but nothing, I couldn't see. "Well now I can't see" I mumbled freaking out a bit.
