Chapter 20

The bridge finally finished building and we all were finally healed enough to leave the village. We all had our bags packed and we were just about to leave. I smiled at all the villagers that came to see us off. "How's the apples going?" I asked hoping the trees are growing well. Tazuna grinned while the lady from the shop came out. "Actually we all decided to sell these to other parts of the land as well as using them here" the lady said, I smiled at them. "We actually came up with the perfect name too" she said rubbing her neck. "May I hear it?" I asked hoping they will name it after the village. "Rose's apples" I was shocked, what is with everyone and calling me rose? I felt heat on my cheeks while everyone Cheered at that name.

"We also plan on naming the bridge "The great Uzamaki and Mai bridge" Naruto and I laughed while Naruto rubbed his nose obnoxiously. We all waved goodbye before Naruto and Inari would never leave each other. Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura were at the front while Sasuke and I were at the back, talking every now and then but more enjoying each other's company. "I'm sorry for trying to kill you Naruto" I said loud enough for them all to hear. "It's fine! Believe it! I didn't know you were like me!" Naruto said while slowing down so he could talk easier with me. "Yeah, although not many people know so please do keep it a secret" I begged, the hokage wouldn't be happy that I lost control. "I will! Believe it!" Naruto yelled his fist in the air before running up ahead again.

~ Timeskip ~

We got home yesterday and were told to meet here at 5am but it's about 7am. We all tapped our feet, still coming down from the adrenaline of yesterday's week long mission. I also got a huge lecture from the hokage about my control. I shivered from remembering it. Finally Kakashi came and came up with another lame excuse "Sorry there was a black cat on my path so I had to take the long way" Kakashi smiled causing us to sweat drop at his excuses.

"What are we doing today sensei?" I asked just wanting to go home and sleep again. "We're walking dogs" Kakashi said as he led us to the area. 'I love dogs!' I thought happily as I looked at all the cute dogs to walk. I came across this pure black wolf who was the biggest of them all. I smiled and grabbed his collar while Sasuke and Sakura chose small dogs. I looked at Narutos choice and frowned, that dog isn't going to be obedient. "Poor Naruto" I said as we watched the dog drag him to the mines. After many times Naruto stuffed up our missions, we all were on the way home.

"Sasuke do you wanna do some training together?" A sickly sweet voice said almost making me gag. "Your just like Naruto, Actually no your worse. Why don't you focus on a jutsu then maybe I'll reconsider" Sasuke said walking ahead of me. Sakura looked at me sad, I just shrugged. "I'll see you at home Sasuke, I'm going to do some things first" I pulled the peace sign and ran off looking for Naruto.

I stopped dead in my tracks when I noticed that Naruto was getting chased by a square rock. I decided to stay back before laughing at him when he finally had enough of the chase. Then the box exploded and then came out three kids, 2 boys and a girl.

The girl introduced herself first "I'm Moegi the sexiest kunoichi in town!" then she posed.

Then a boy went next "I'm udon! I also love algebra" as he fixed his glasses.

Then went the last one with a blue scarf "Konohamaru I'm the number one ninja in the leaf village! Future hokage" he said as his scarf behind him began flowing in the wind.

Huh? Have I seen them before? I shook my head, probably not. I jumped closer so I was standing on the fence before crouching down. "Wanna play ninja with us boss?!" They all begged while Naruto shook his head. "I need to train! Believe it!" He said pointing to himself. "Ninjas playing ninja, how weird" Sakura butted in walking over to Naruto and the kids. "Who's she boss?" Konohamaru asked staring at Naruto and saw the blush on his face.

"She's your girlfriend!?" They all asked shocked. "Yea-" Naruto began but got hit into the fence, almost knocking me off my balance. "Big forehead is mean!" Konohamaru said as Sakura got super angry and began to chase him. He then ran into someone, that someone turned around and looked angrily at Konohamaru. I frowned when he picked him up by his collar, "does this hurt punk" the cat said.

"Put him down Kankuro or you'll pay for it later" a girl with blonde hair said with a huge fan on her back. I went up closer wanting a glance of her fan. I gasped at how intricate the design was, the girl looked up and noticed me. "Uh don't mind me, just a fellow fan user admiring your fan" I blushed scratching my neck. She smirked as I jumped down in front of Kankuro. "Hey put the kid down, he didn't mean it" I said as I got ready to grab my kunai.
