~ Back in the House ~

Sasuke got up and went to look for Mai. Kakashi took this chance to tell them a bit of their past "Mai's right, Naruto didn't know his parents. They both died when he was born. With Mai's and Sasukes case, their whole clan was killed by their own brother. Leaving them as the sole survivors" Kakashi took a drink of his tea while everyone looked down, guilty for the 3 ninjas. "Although I don't see or hear any of them crying or complaining" he continued as Inari looked down tears in his eyes. "Do be gentle on them, they know how you feel better then all of us" the door opened to Sasuke and Mai coming back. They both bowed then going up to their rooms.

~ Back with Mai ~

I looked at my brother, "Why do people assume we don't know pain?" I asked playing with a Kunai. He shrugged and got into his makeshift bed. We both said good night to each other and went to sleep.

The next morning we got up early, preparing to protect the bridge builders. We tried to wake up Naruto but he refused to wake up so we just left him there. We were on the way to the bridge but there were bodies of all the bridge builders. I quickly ran over to one and saw that he was only unconscious. I sighed happy that no one died. "Just as I thought, Zabuza is alive and he's back" I said stepping back towards Sasuke keeping an eye out.

Then a thick fog came over us, I felt myself tremble at the thought of Zabuza again. "It's alright Mai, I'll protect you" Sasuke said standing in front of me. "Sorry to keep you waiting Kakashi Hatake, it seems you still have those brats with you" Zabuza said sending chills down my spine. "Look even ones shaking" he laughed while looking at Sasuke. I looked to Sasuke but he didn't seem scared at all. "I'm shaking with excitement" Sasuke said with a smirk. "Go on Sasuke" Kakashi said as Sasuke nodded and slashed all the water clones in one hit.

I looked at my older brother in admiration, I didn't know he was this strong. "Oh so you knew they were clones? Haku it seems you have a worthy opponent" a boy around our age stood out from behind a tree stood in front of Zabuza "so it seems" the boy said. "So you were just a scam hiding behind a mask. Who do you think your fooling?" Kakashi said looking at Haku. I grab my katana from my Sheath and ready my self.

"I'm taking the faker out, who does he think he's fooling?" Sasuke said causing Kakashi and I to sweat drop, Kakashi just literally said that. "Wow your so cool Sasuke!" Sakura yelled with hearts in her eyes. "He's impressive although they were only one tenth of your strength. We do have to worry about him and the girl beside him, she is known as 'The bleeding Rose'" Haku said talking about Sasuke and I.

Haku started to move forward, an icy cold wind cycling around him. I activated my Mangekyo sharingan and could see sharp ice coming Sasukes way. I jumped in front of him, but sadly didn't get enough time to block them all. They went straight through me but nothing vital. I winced, "damn this" I said as Sasuke got angry and threw punches at Haku. I jumped in too, engaging in a taijutsu battle.

"We want the bridge builder, not you kids. Just let us kill him and we'll let you live" Haku said obviously not wanting to kill us. "Like I'd let you take away the hope of this village!" I yelled, some of Shikokus chakra surrounding me completely. 'I don't want to loose control Shikoku' I said to him engaging Haku in a ninjutsu battle. "Fire Style fireball jutsu" I whispered and blowing into my hands. He counted it with his ice, I tried to copy it but my head just stung in pain.
