Chapter 12

Us three headed into town, I was looking around at all the poor families that were begging on the street. "Where are we going Tazuna?" Sakura said watching the people sadly. "Well don't you want dinner? We have to get ingredients" I frowned, we were the ones imposing on them. "May I pay Tazuna? I have a some savings left that may help out a bit" I said reaching into my pouch and pulling out my panda wallet. Sakura and Tazuna snickered while looking at my panda wallet. "Hey! Pandas are cute and my brothers got this for me!" I said holding the wallet to my chest, they just shook their heads and sighed. "Fine but be warned everything is expensive as they are trying to live off the income" Tazuna warned me but I ignored it.

We made it to the grocery store, well more looks like a shed. I looked around and couldn't believe the lack of stock. If only I knew a jutsu to speed up growth of plantation...

'Brat, you're an elemental user aren't you? Shikoku asked.

'Yeah but there isn't one that could do faster produce right?' I said an idea popping into my head.

'There is one but you will need my chakra' he said making me frown, he just wants to get out. 'I do, but seeing you humans like this disgusts me' he said with a grunt.

'Okay, I'll buy some seeds? Will I still have control?' I asked still not keen for the idea.

'Yes brat now shut up and let me know when your ready to practice' Shikoku said disappearing again. I zoned back into the world when we were at the cashier. She said the price which I didn't quite catch and just handed her the note I thought she said. "Ma-am I think you gave me too much" the cashier said trying to hand it back. "Don't worry about it ma-am, I'm not from around here. This island needs it more then I do" I said smiling at her as she hugged me tears streaming down her face. "Oh how much are those seed packets behind you? I want to try something at home" I said pointing to the assorted packets of seeds.

"How much do you want?" The lady said getting ready to grab them. "If that's okay I want to grab them all please" I said grabbing another note and putting it beside the register. "W-What are you doing?!" Both tazuna and Sakura said looking at me shocked. "Don't worry I think when I master it, it can help this village out" I said grinning at them. "Thank you so much ma-am, this could feed the whole village" the cashier said while I nodded and said "it's okay, you buy some food for yourself and your family" I said walking out with the bags.

The women ran out to the front of the shop and yelled "Thank you leaf ninjas!!" Which caused everyone to start yelling it as well before crowding the women causing her to blush. I blushed at their antics while Tazuna smiled and so did Sakura. While Tazuna and Sakura went to the house, I went to where the boys were probably still training. "Naruto! Sasuke!" I called out but no reply. 'Where are they?..' I thought before calling again and receiving nothing. I started to worry a bit but Naruto and Sasuke came crashing down from the trees. "What cha want Mai?! Can't you see we're practicing? Believe it!" Naruto said with bruises and scratches all over his body.

I sighed before handing them two water canteens which they took and drank greedily. "Wow when did you last have a break?" I said giggling at them. "No time, we need to perfect this before Zabuza comes back. Thanks Mai" Sasuke said as he went back to training. "PST Mai, have any tips?" Naruto jumped beside me and holding his hand up in a whisper manner. I looked at Sasuke and saw he was trying hard to listen in too. "Well imagine the chakra like a sheet on your feet, not too heavy and not too light and then slowly walk up" I said my pointer on my chin. "Thanks Mai!" Naruto said while running back to his tree. I smiled and looked at Sasuke "hn" was his way of thanks.
