It wasn't long before Gale burst into Eddie's bedroom, his arms folded across his chest, and hissed, "You guys are together and you didn't even bother telling me? I am honest to god really hurt right now."

Eddie still had his arm wrapped around me when he rolled his eyes and told Gale, "Well, we were gonna tell you at a more opportune time but someone sort of brought up our situation and there really wasn't a good way to just avoid spilling."

"Uh, yes there was!" Gale sighed, making a motion for us to split apart so that he could attack me with a huge hug. "You could of told me back in San Francisco, or on the car ride here. Really, there were so many time you could have told me!"

"We wanted to work out our bugs before we told everyone," I explained, setting my head on his shoulder and squeezing his torso tightly. Gale appeared to be so scrawny, but whenever we hugged, I always was reminded of squeezing a teddy bear.

"Yeah, you guys kinda put us on the spot, Asher..."

"Bull," Gale chuckled, releasing me to give his lifelong buddy a punch on the shoulder. Eddie returned it with an equally large smile. "I'm beyond relieved that you guys finally clicked, though. Not that you guys weren't already practically a couple beforehand, but... you know. Now you both have someone and they're a good someone and that's more than either of you have ever had."

I glanced at Eddie, surprised by Gale's words. "What?"

Exactly where was he going with the fact Eddie had never had someone good in his life? Was he referring to past girlfriends? By the sounds of it, Eddie wasn't exactly the best when it came to relationships, but I guess it was feasible that it wasn't exactly his fault. Maybe Ed had a pattern of picking the wrong girl.

My boyfriend reached over and brought me into his side. He then proceeded to do the same with Gale so that we were part of a massive group-hug. "You're the best, Clemmy. That's all Gale means by that," he muttered, kissing both our heads. "And I'd like to think I'm at least microscopically better than your last boyfriend?"

"You're better by miles," I promised, hiding my face in his shoulder.

"Aw, did we just have a moment?" Gale squealed, tickling Eddie's side. The bulkiest of us three swatted Ale's hand away, his face scrunched up painfully. "Eddie hates tickling, just for future reference. Okay, Lem?"

"Good to know!"

"Clem, please don't." Eddie was laughing while he said this, his hands held up in defense. Carefully, he backed away from us and moved towards the door. "If you try, I will scream and Georgie will come up here to restore order. You do not wanna see Georgie trying to restore order."

I threw him a playfully vicious look, but made no move to attack him with tickles. Instead, I went for Gale, which earned me a swift flick to the cheek. "Jerk! I can't believe you did that!" he squealed, rushing forwards to jab his fingers into my ribs. "Payback is a beach!"

"Ed, save me!" I giggled, trying to shove Gale away and run towards my boyfriend. (AHHHH.)

"I'll protect you, baby," Eddie promised, yanking me out of Gale's reach. "Hands off my boyfriend, Gale!"

"Aww, fine, just because you called him your b-f. Now get your butts in gear. We're getting pizza for dinner and our dads just went to go get it. Georgie has Twister set up in the living room," Gale explained, waving his hands around ecstatically. I threw Eddie a terrified look which he responded to by hugging me and promising I didn't have to play. "It's gonna be a fun night, I promise. Live a little, buddy!"
