the short haired girl woke up in the raven haired boys arms. she felt happy. for once, she truly felt happy. she could feel his chest rising with every breath he took.

millie looked up to see finn already awake and looking down at her, smiling. "morning, love bug." he said quietly. millies cheeks turned a light shade of red, "morning." she mumbled.

"are you alright?" the worried boy asked. millie nodded, ever so slightly. "thank you for helping me. i don't trust people easily... especially boys." millie told finn. "some boys aren't worthy of your trust." finn told the girl.

millie thought about that for a second. he was right. "people have to earn trust, they don't just get it."

right again. millie looked up at finn, she stared into his dark, mysterious brown eyes. she wanted to kiss him. she wanted so badly to kiss him.

but little did she know, finn was thinking the same thing. he wanted to kiss her, he wanted to feel the sensation of her lips on his.

millie looked down at the boys lips, and back to his eyes. finn did the same. millie blushed, and finn brushed a stranf of hair behind millie's ear.

the boy was confused, so he just went for it. he cupped the girls face in his hands, brushing the rest of the hair out of her face, and gently pressed his lips against hers.

at first, millie was surprised at the boys actions, but she then melted into it.

it was a quick and simple kiss, something the both of them enjoyed. millie was the first to pull away. finn smiled, looking down at the girls, whose cheeks were a bright pink color. "i've been wanting to do that since that party." finn confessed.

millie's eyes widened at his confession. "that party was horrible." she laughed, remembering how said got drunk in less than a minute of being there. "except for you kissing me, that was... nice." she said, her cheeks turning a brighter shade of pink.

finn chuckled, caressing her cheek softly. "you know, you didn't have to stay here the whole night." millie said to finn, who was now playing with her hair. "i know." finn mumbled.

and with that, millie plastered a big, joyful smile on her face while lying her head on her soft, squishy pillow.

sadie's pov:

"sadie!" i heard someone yell as the door to my house slammed shut. who is it and what do they want so early in the morning? i groaned, ripping the blanket off of my legs, which caused a draft of cold air to flow through my room.

"what??" i yelled back. i waltzed down the long, dark, and dusty hallway to see my best friend walk into my house with none other than finn wolfhard. great.

"hi mills." i groggily stated, putting my hand on finn's chest, pushing him backwards and out of the way so i could give millie a hug. "nice to see you too red." he spat. i smiled sarcastically at him and walked into the kitchen to make some coffee.

"what do you want so early, sunshine?" i asked millie as she hopped onto the counter, watching me make myself a cup of coffee.  "i'm bored with life, and you always seem to have the best ideas." millie said to me.

i smiled at her statement. she does have a point. "let's go on road trip." millie's face lit up, and she looked at finn. his face dropped. "no mills." he said sternly. she frowned, but then plastered a mischievous look on her face.

"pleaseeee, finnie? for me?" she said as she batted her eyes and put her hand on finn's chest, which made his breathing hitch. then he smiled manically. he put his hands on her waist, and millie's breathing hitched as well. 

then he put his face really close to millies, until they were inches apart. "whatever you want, love." and he walked out of the house.

finn's pov:

i nailed that. that was great. i totally left her astounded. she was so into it. we're like practically dating. all i have to do is ask her out and to be my girlfriend. that'll be perfect... AND i'll do it during the road trip. hell yeah.

i unlocked my phone and started a group chat with noah, and gaten. 

wolfboi started a chat with beanboi, chocodaddy, and puddinboi!

wolfboi: hey guys we're going on a road trip with mills and sadie. ok? ok.

beanboi: i'm down, legit there's nothing to do anymore. playing video games with gaten all day is starting to get annoying

beanboi: ESPECIALLY when he screams at the top of his lungs for his mommy

puddinboi: hey! i do NOT!

puddinboi: and yeah, road trip sounds good

chocodaddy: YEEEE road tripppp 

chocodaddy: gaten, we all know you scream like a girl don't try to deny it ;)

puddinboi: you guys suck 

wolfboi: you know u love us 

wolfboi: no homo though

beanboi: ^ yeah... uh no homo 

wolfboi: k bye see you guys tomorrow
