CHAPTER 19 - Mamita

Hi readers! Sorry nga pala sa late update. Hindi ako naka update kahapon kasi naging busy ako. Nagpa check ako sa ngipin ko eh tapos hindi rin ako maka internet kahapon dahil walang signal. Kaya eto na po, chapter 19. Enjoy! :)))

Khym's POV

"A man cannot live on his own, that's why he has subordinates, friends and workers to help him to suceed. We need to work more to make this company better or maybe in its best, but I cannot do that without all of you.  I gathered you here today, to invite you all to work with me in this proposal..."

Hayy, busy na naman ang buhay ko dahil sa mga proposal ng mga co-partners namin sa company. Malapit na rin kasi yung anniversary ng company kaya kailangan todo ang preparations and work. Pero kahit busy ako, tinutulungan naman ako ng mga workers ko para mapadali yung preparations sa event. At andyan rin si Nicole para tulungan ako. Kahit isang tingin ko lang kay Nicole, nawawala na yung pagod ko.. Eeeeh corny :3 Hahahah! Pero sa totoo lang, mas ganado pa akong magtrabaho kung andyan siya :)

"Ui Khym!" bulong ni Nics.

"H-ha?"

"Tinatanong ka oh?" sabay turo niya sa speaker.

Ayst, di ko namalayan -.-

"U-uhmm, what did you say Mr. Park?" tanong ko.

"Do you like my idea President? It takes a lot of money to make this but this can help us save our time."

Tinignan ko yung ginawa niya, maganda naman and he said na 5 days lang daw ito matatapos. 1 week nlng at anniversary na ng kompanyang ito. Statue ng parents ko na may name nila sa baba.

"How much does it cost?" I asked.

"Maybe P4.5 million to P6 million." sabi niya.

"Well, I'll think about that and I'll answer it later. Remember our budget is only P7M, we have only P1M to spend for our event if we spend our P6M to the statue. Think about it first Mr. Park." pagpapaliwanag ko.

"Yes President." sabay upo niya.

Nagtanong ako ulit sa kanila if may iba pa ba silang ideas, then Nicole raised her hand.

"Oh, Miss Lee. What is your idea?" tanong ko habang nakangiti, di ko mapigilan kasi.

"U-umm. I was thinking... If our budget is P7M, I would prefer to place P3M for the cater, design and other things that are used for the occasion, while the P4M is for our extra budget. Mr. Park's idea was somehow good but it lacks something. Yes, we do respect that Ms. Gomez' parents have a great signifance of this company, but would it be better if we give this money to those who needs it badly? Those people who were struck by typhoons and other calamities in our country? What I'm saying is that, why shouldn't we raise a fund raising activity in our event? Not only that it can help the people but this can also gain the trust of other companies who would like to be involved in our company." sabi niya.

Ngumiti ako at napamangha sa sinabi niya. Mapag-unawa, mabait at matulungin, mas lalo akong natu-turn on sa babaeng ito. Gusto ko yung idea niya and I can also remember my parents doing the same thing. Mabait at matulungin rin yung parents ko, di dahil sa tinulungan nila si Nicole na mag-aral kundi marami na silang tinulungan para mapaunlad yung buhay ng ibang tao. Nagreklamo yung mga ibang staff sa office pero I stopped them.

"Why? What's wrong with her idea?" tanong ko.

"Umm, pardon Ms. President but I think it's not a good idea. The money shouldn't be--"

"Not a good idea? Why would you say that?" sabi ko, naiirita ako sa mga sinasabi nila. Wala ba silang puso?

"The money should only be in our company, we don't need to spend it on other things. Pinaghirapan natin to, and I would agree to Mr. Park's proposal."
