CHAPTER 40 - Revelation

Hey readers! I have a sad announcement to make. I can only update one to two chapters every week kasi medyo busy na si Author ninyo :( Kakasimula lang kasi ng class naming eh at saka marami na rin akong gagawin especially sa mga school projects. Sorry po kung medyo mabagal na yung paguupdate ko, I hope you’ll understand. Salamat po sa pagsusupporta ng story na ‘to kahit mabagal yung pag uupdate.

.Jace’s POV

“J-Janeth…” tawag ni Khym kay Ms. Villafuente.

Huh? Khym just called her by her first name. Magkakilala ba sila?

“I-Is that really you?” said Ms. V.

I really don’t know what’s happening here but I think they have met. This is the first time I’ve heard of Ms. Villafuente’s first name, and Khym was also the first person who called her by her first name. But what really bothers me is that Khym looks so pale when she saw Ms. V. I wanted to call her but then Ms. V immediately hugged Khym. Woah! So they really are friends. Hmm…

Khym’s POV

Did she just hug me? Di ko inexpect yun. I wanted to push her away from me pero di ko kayang gawin kasi there are many people around us. Di ko pa rin sya kayang saktan kagaya ng ginawa niya sa akin noon kasi I think I still have a little feelings for her. Well it’s true when I said that I have moved on with Janeth, but not that all. Di pa kasi fully recovered yung puso ko.

Why now? Bakit ngayon lang siya bumalik when I have already found someone. Damn! No! I shouldn’t think about this! I should forget about Janeth! I have Nicole and I wouldn’t waste all the efforts that she did to me. Kailangan ko ng i-alis si Janeth sa puso ko and pretend to her that I hate her for what she did to me before, which is exactly true.

I gently pushed Janeth away from me. Halatang malungkot siya pagkatapos kong gawin yun. I painted a blank expression in my face para di siya mag assume na namimiss ko siya.

“We should start the meeting. I don’t want to waste my time.” sabi ko.

“O-oh sorry.” pagpapaumanhin ni Janeth.

“Well I guess we should.” sang-ayon ni Jace.

“Okay. Let’s proceed to the conference room.” aya ni Janeth.

Dali-dali akong naglakad sa conference room, I don’t want to be together with her. Sumama nlng ako kay Jace para maiwasan siya.

“I guess you have something to tell me. We’ll talk after the meeting.” sabi ni Jace.

“Sure.” sagot ko. Bampira talaga ‘tong si Jace. Alam niya yung anong iniisip ko -_-

After we have gathered in the conference room, umupo na kaming lahat when Janeth let us take our seats. Nagsimula na syang mag introduce sa sarili niya and about her company. I was only staring at her, not minding what she was saying. Nagbago na talaga siya, she became more of a woman. Pumuti, naging makinis yung mukha niya and also her skin. Kung gusto niyo talaga malaman yung itsura niya, just imagine Coleen Garcia, pero chinita at black yung hair. Hindi naman siya chubby, fit lang at saka average lang. I wasn’t staring for her that long kasi it’s not that I do still love her but I wanted to know what has changed about her. Di naman siguro mali yun dba? I’m not the same Khym I was before, I’ve changed. And now, only one person is holding my heart and that’s Nicole. Siya lang talaga yung para sa akin and no one else.
