I could finally get my leg brace off and was doing physical therapy. It felt weird being at work with Georgia, not being there. It felt strange anyway with everything that happened. So, after talking to Dad and mom, they set me up an office at home so I could still work without feeling anxious.

Things were in full swing for the wedding as Noah came home along with Taj for a break, bringing someone with him. Batman had a girlfriend, which we were meeting for the first time.

We knew nothing about this girl, and it's not like he was forthcoming about her.

Our parents had dinner with all of us to meet Noah's new girlfriend. That should be fun.

We arrived at the house and walked in, greeted by Batman. He hugged me and said hi to Dom while talking to Mikayla. Next to him stood a woman who seemed older.

"Kami, Dom, Mikayla, this is Larissa," he introduced us.

We said hi, as Mikayla said, "Why are your clothes so small?"

"Oh, well, I like to wear form-fitting clothes," she said.

"They look like my dollies," she said as Dom placed his hand over her mouth.

"Cute kid," she said through pursed lips.

"We think so," I smiled. I didn't like Larissa already.

After getting to know Larissa, let's say Georgia and I had our own opinions, especially when she commented on Georgia's pregnancy.

"I don't know how you can stand being that big."

"I'm pregnant. The doctors expect it," Georgia said with a look.

"Not me. I prefer to keep my figure."

"That's nice," Georgia said, rolling her eyes.

Larissa grabbed my hand. "Nice rock. It must load your man."

I snatched my hand away. "Uh, thanks, and that's none of your business."

"Whatever," she shrugged.

"Mommy! Can I have cake?" Mikayla squealed when she ran into the living room, over to me.

"Excuse me, little girl, but it's rude to interrupt grown-ups." She leaned over with her chest, practically hanging out.

"Huh?"

"Did I stutter? No, now run along and bother someone else."

Mikayla looked at her. "I don't like you."

"And I don't care," she smirked.

"Excuse me, don't talk to my daughter that way," I told her.

"Maybe someone should teach her manners."

"Really because you need a few lessons yourself, you hussy, considering you came to a family dinner dress like a hooker," Georgia said, causing me to snicker.

Larissa frowned at us. "At least I have the decency not to go get knocked up," she spat.

We looked at each other. Was this girl for real?

Dom walked in with Justin as Mikayla said, "What's a hooker?"

"What?" Dom said doing a double-take along with Justin.

"Aunt Georgia called the mean old lady a hooker."

"Well, uh," Dom said as we looked around the room.
