I couldn't believe my parents let us have Monday off. That was fine by me because having to get up early for work after getting home late tends to suck.
Dom and Justin showed up early to pick us up since we were all riding together. Zoe, Avie, Davis, and Kai were taking another car. It's been a while since all of us had been out together. I couldn't wait.
We got into the car and Justin drove to Cedar Point with Georgia in the front seat, Dom and I were in the backseat. We left early, so we could get our tickets and get in first.
We pulled into the parking lot and got out, making our way to the gates. Dom paid for Georgia and my tickets as a thank you for taking care of Mikayla. I would have done it anyway, but he insisted on this. Who am I to argue?
We entered and walked around the park, figuring out what ride we wanted to go on first.
"How about this, we'll split up into groups, then meet back here for lunch?" Zoe asked us.
"How about something to eat first? I'm starving since yahoo here didn't stop for breakfast," Avie said, pointing to Kai.
"Is it my fault you have to be so picky at the drive-thru?" Kai asked her.
"I'm not picky. I know what I want," Avie shrugged.
"McDonald's is not Burger King, you don't get it your way," he said with a look.
"I get everything my way," she smirked.
"On that note, we are heading this way," Davis said, taking Zoe's hand and leading her away as Kai and Avie followed them.
The four of us decided to grab some food. I was a bit hungry from the drive. We all sat down and ate, then waited for our stomachs to settle before hopping on the rides. I didn't feel like losing my breakfast, trying to have fun.
After our stomachs settled, we hit the rides, and boy, we beat them. We rode every ride imaginable they had, which was fine by me. Dom and I had a blast together. At one point, he picked me up and flung me over his shoulder as we made our way around the park.
People thought we were nuts, but we were having fun. I never laugh so much in my life as he chased after me.
"Those two are nuts," Justin said to Georgia.
"Yeah, but think about it, when's the last time you saw Dom let loose?"
"Good point. Even when we played pool, Dom was so serious. Sarah did a number on him," he told her.
"It doesn't surprise me. Victoria was horrible to me when I was little. If it wasn't for my dad and Lina, who knows how I would have turned out," she said to him.
He stopped and looked at her, "Is that why you're afraid of having kids?"
"I'm not afraid," she shrugged.
"Georgia, the minute I mention kids, you change the subject on me."
"Justin, I have fifty percent of her DNA. Do I want to pass that down to kids?"
"Yeah, but as you said, your dad and Lina raised you. Big difference," he told her.
"Can we drop it and have fun together?"
He looked at her, "Yeah, sure."
"Justin."
"Nope, you want to have fun. So we will have fun," he said, walking away from her.
While Dom and I were busy goofing around, I saw Justin sans Georgia, "Justin? Where's Georgia?"
"Having fun," he shrugged. I knew that look. I looked at Dom, "I'll be right back." He nodded as I went to look for Georgia. I found her at a table. I walked over and took a seat.
