Saturday came, and I got ready to go out with Dom. I was so excited. Can you tell I'm excited?
I dressed in a skirt and sandals since he said to dress casually, and it was pretty warm out. I threw my hair up in a ponytail.
Justin was over, hanging out with Georgia when I heard a knock at the door. She got up and answered the door, waving Dom into the apartment.
I came strolling out of my bedroom and over to them.
"Okay, have a good time, and be careful," she said to us.
"Yes, mom," I said, rolling my eyes.
As we left, she yelled, "Don't forget the protection, you crazy fools!"
Dom and I gave her a look as she laughed. My sister is a nut.
We walked out to his car, and he opened my door for me. I got in and got situated, then he closed it, walked around to the other side. After that, he pulled out of the parking lot and drove to the restaurant.
He pulled up to a restaurant with a patio about fifteen minutes away from the apartment and parked. We got out and made our way inside, where he asked for outdoor seating.
After taking a seat, we placed our order, then talked.
"Have you been keeping your bedroom cleaned? We wouldn't want Minnie to appear," he smirked.
"Yes, I have! Trust me, my parents and Georgia have been on me about it. Plus, I had to get a new frame since we broke the other one," I said quickly. He chuckled.
"That's not funny!"
Seeing you and Georgia on your bed, dancing around was pretty funny," he chuckled. I couldn't help but laugh at the memory.
They brought our food out, and we started eating as we talked.
"I wanted to clear a few things up about the other day," he said to me.
"About what?"
"Why I don't want people to know about Mikayla," he said, causing me to stop mid-bite. "It's not because I have a daughter, it's because if people found out how old her mom was at the time, they would look at me differently."
"Dom, it shouldn't matter though," I reasoned.
"But it does to me. I don't want people to think I randomly sleep with underage girls because I don't. That was the only time ever, and I regret it. I don't regret my daughter, though," he explained.
I looked at him. Dom didn't strike me as the type that would take advantage of someone. I don't know the whole story, only his side.
"I get it, and trust me; I wouldn't say anything. It's not my place," I shrugged.
"I'm glad because I like you, Kami. Since that night at the club, you're all I think about when I'm not with you."
I couldn't help but blush.
"I hope this goes further with us if you're okay with it is going further," he said to me.
"I think I'm okay with that," I smiled, causing him to smile.
We finished our dinner and talked a bit, then heard a screeching voice come up to us. Dom tensed, and I looked up to see some girl standing there.
"What are you doing here?" He said with a coldness in his tone.
"We need to talk!" She snapped.
"No, we don't. You need to stay the hell away from me," he grumbled.
