Benedict chapter 5

3rd person's pov - Benedict held onto (f/n)'s arm walking to the entrance of the restaurant "can you guess what we will be having." he asked (f/n) lifted her head a bit smelling the scent of food well it wasn't what she expected. "this is new" she said benedict smiled "it is" he said leaned down to whisper in her ear "its a new restaurant that combines certain types of food" he said "I thought I would bring you here cause it smells nice and we can talk with out too many people talking." he said "its very kind of you benedict" benedict brought (f/n) over to a table helping her sit down he fixed her dress so no one would step on it. a woman walked over "hello my name is Karin I'll be your waitress this evening." she said as she handed (f/n) and benedict their menu's "lets start off with a drinks" she said "we have water, mountain dew, pepsi, coke, bubba tea" (f/n) bubba tea its been a while since she heard that name. "b-bubba tea" she said "alright and what type?" "black tea, milk and honey" she said "okay and you sir?" "do you have ice tea?" he asked "yes we do" she said "okay well I will give you ten minutes to look over while I get your drinks" she said benedict nodded "thanks" he said looking at the menu he started to read the meals out. "the burger and fries" she said "your sure?" "yeah" benedict looked at (f/n) "is something wrong?" he asked "i just remembered something that's all" she said benedict tilted his head as he placed his hand on hers to reassure her "if you want to take it to go we can" he said. "no its okay" she said she looked up at him her scarred eyes lightly opening "can I ask you something benedict?" "what is it?" he asked lightly almost a whisper "are you doing this out of pitty?"

benedicts pov - was I pitying her? was I though I felt bad so I took her out but seeing her like this she is beautiful she talks with grace and subtleness and she is just so soothing I cant help but want to be around her. "Before I did but when I saw you in that dress and the way you were so confident I didn't need to pity you." I said "what makes you ask?" "I just" she paused "when I was in the army being a woman was hard Claudia usually acted like my big brother. on days that we would rest he would bring in bubba tea and so I was treated special. because of this I would get picked on and sometimes bullied but I ignored it. when the bombed exploded and I was in the hospital everyone who treated me wrong treated me like I was a hero, like I was everything. they only treated me like that cause they pittied me." she said I sat back looking at her "I wont pity you. you joined the army on your own free will of course you will come back with some scars. but now looking at you, you practically do everything yourself you don't need help you still paint you cook and do fine yourself. so no I don't pity you your style of clothing maybe" I joked "but other than that I love everything about you" I said (f/n) smiled her face lit up with joy as she wiped the tears "thank you Benedict." "alright then are you ready to order?" Karin asked "yes we are I'll have two orders of the burger I don't want onions on mine" "okay and fries do you want another side?" "no that is all" I said "and you miss?" "the same and I want more fries" I chuckled she was so comfortable and I likes it. "alrighty then I'll bring your order in a few" Karin said before leaving. I settled back relaxing "you can change your looks and look like a rich woman but your always the same under it." "hmm what do you mean?" she asked "i mean you never change."
