(f/n) stood her ground she couldn't see but she could hear the whispers
"(f/n) you don't have to give them any reasons" Claudia said he knew everything about her brother and herself.
"I do" she said "i have to because all this" she opened her arms "this gallery is for him" she said "every painting here is a memory of him" she said with tears in her eyes she held out her hand benedict took it "(f/n)" he whispered holding her hand tightly
"walk with me" she said benedict didn't really understand but he did as she asked following her down the hall to the first painting."I was five years younger than my brother we lived in a old one bedroom home it was under another apartment." (f/n) said "it was small and cold we had no electricity but we had a small kitchen and we would keep the stove on a lot during winter. I don't remember my mom and dad for some reason but I remember him being there a lot always taking care of me." she said tears filled her eyes as she remembered her older brother "he was tired even as a kid he never said it but I could see it in his eyes. he had been working since he was ten from a delivery boy to trash picking cleaning the gutters and more. he worked to the point he struggled to walk home but when he reached the door he would always hold that smile. as we aged our life improved then one day two men came to the door they held big rifles and a letter. Elijah for the first time couldn't contain his sadness as he walked on sitting at our makeshift dinning room table with a half eaten bowl of rice. tears quickly fell as his hands trembled holding the letter tightly I didn't understand at first I thought he was scared but he wasn't. he wanted to make his country proud but he was scared to leave me behind. I was only fifteen but I promised him I would be okay and that I would follow him to the ends of earth all we had was each other. So I kept my promise and went to war when I was 17. 8 years total on one of our breaks I came home I didn't really get to see Elijah until then he was different I could barely recognize him he was cold barely spoke always slept. but he still smiled at me and I like when I was a kid believed him it was my reassurance. in our childhood home where we lived and grew up we were so close and yet so far apart that home is where he died." she said benedict looked at the painting In a way you could feel lonely but the lights was reassuring that it was home.
