I hear birds chirping outside. I open my eyes slowly feeling quite strange...
I sunddenly realize that someone is staring at me... That person is holding me...

"Hey, quit staring!" I said.

My voice... It sounds different.

"You catch a cold. I thought so" The Shinobi says.

"Damn..."

"It's alright, though. I'll take care of you" He winks.

I pull away from his hands and get up from his lap. My face flushes all red remembering how I was all sissy around him last night.

"Come on, let's get ready" He says.

"Um...Ready for what?"

"We're moving"

"Eh? Moving? To where?"

He gets up and grabs my hands. "Let's hurry. It's not like we have anything to pack up"

Ignoring my question again -_-

We teleport outside the cave. Now we're in the forest. The air brushes against my face. It feels so nice. He starts to walk and I follow him. That's when I realize that we're still holding hands. I quickly pull my hand away and continue to walk behind him.

"Can't we just teleport there instead of walking?" I ask.

"Nope. Walking in the morning like this is better"

We just keep walking. I have no idea where he is taking me. Maybe he finally lets me free?

Nah... Impossible.

We finally reach what I assume-our destination.

A ginger bread house!

Just kidding.

A cozy small cottage stands before us. I feel comfortable just by looking at it. There's a garden in front of the cottage with rows of beautiful flowers.

"Is this where we'll be staying from now on?" I ask curiously.

"You guessed it"  He says.

"I can't wait to check out!" I scream and run quickly into the house.

First thing is the living room with cozy furniture. They look old but comfortable. There's even a fireplace.

I continue to explore my new home. The kitchen is quite big and there's one bathroom. I see the stairs and start walking up. The attic is the bedroom. It looks... Not bad, not bad at all.

"Like what you see?" He asks.

"Kinda. How did you get this house?"

"Found it out of nowhere"

"Man, we should've moved in sooner. Why didn't you tell me!?"

"I have to watch it for a few days, to make sure it's abandoned"

"Oh. I see"

I glance around the room again. "I wonder who lived here before"

"Probably a hunter or something. One day got eaten by a tiger... Maybe" The ninja predicts.

"Wait... T-There's only one bedroom!"

"I'll sleep somewhere else. Don't worry"

"Good"

He reaches his hand out to me and touches my forehead. "You have a fever" He says. His hand roams around my neck. "This is bad..."

He picks me up and lays me down on the bed. "Rest. I'll go make something for you"

I just nod. He really is taking care of me. I'm... confused. He's different from when we first met.

I close my eyes for a moment. When he returns, he brings me a bowl of soup.

"Get up and have this" He says.

I get up and taste it. "Mmm, so good"

"Eat more. You'll get better soon. Here, take the medicine"

I nod and take it. After that, I close my eyes and drift into a deep slumber.

"It's time for another medicine" The Shinobi wakes me up some time later. I look out the window, it's nighttime already. How long have I been sleeping?

"Here, eat something first before taking the pill" He hands me another bowl. It's porridge.

"Come on, open up. I'll feed you" He offers.

"No thanks... I can do it myself"

"Don't be stubborn, open up. Say 'ahhh'"

"Ahhh"

The taste of the porridge fills in my mouth. It's not that tasty but it's acceptable.

Another spoonful occupies my mouth. Another after another until the bowl is empty.

"Want seconds?"

"Nah. Just give me the pill. I'm tired..."

He gives me the medicine and a glass of water. I accept it and lay back down on the bed.

"How're you feeling?" He asks.

"It's just a fever. I don't need your concern"

"I'm just worried. Promise me that you'll be better tomorrow, ok?"

"Hm. Ok"

"Go back to sleep little princess"

"Don't call me that!"

He chuckles. "Feisty as ever I see. Well, if you need anything, just call out to me alright?"

I nod while closing my eyes slowly. I can hear the door open and shut. Good, go away, I hate it when someone watches me sleeping...
