Eunha's pov
🐇🐇🐇
"You're right"
As soon as we heard the voice coming from our back, Eunbi quickly stood up and swiftly pulled me behind her back, looking everywhere as she clenched her fist. I, on the other hand, stayed quiet yet alert behind her.
"Who are you?" Eunbi's cold voice was heard. It felt awkward calling her name. Maybe because our name's the same but this isn't the time to be bothered about small things. I honestly thought we were finally done but then again, I guess this isn't the wonderful day I've always been waiting for. Eunbi held me and pulled me closer to her. I couldn't help but sniff some of her perfume. And uhm- well, she smells good. I felt blood ran up to my face but I tried shaking my head to forget all of it. Slowly, I took a peek behind Eunbi's back, and as soon as my eyes landed on the stranger, I couldn't help but push Eunbi slightly.
"Don't hurt her!" I shouted and break free from her arms. I stood between them, arms spread out as if I was protecting the stranger when in fact these two could probably fight without my help. Both of their attention turned to me. It was fine, I guess, as long as no one would hurt each other. Yerin is practically 10 meters away from us, yet all of us can still see each other clearly.
Perks of being a vampire, I guess.
Eunbi pulled me again and cupped my face. Wait what- "Why?! Do you know her? Or she just used some kind of spell on you?" I shook my head and pushed her slightly, offering a small smile. "She didn't. It's impossible, Eunbi." She narrowed her eyes and cupped my face again, now looking at me worriedly.
"Of course it's possible! Some spells can be used just by looking at their eyes for a minute or less! And she'll hunt you and give you to your boss! Or worse, she'll let her boss kill you!" She stated in horror and pulled me again, hugging me closely. My hands started shaking and my body felt weak. She was really close that I couldn't breathe properly.
After a minute or so, Eunbi finally realized something. "HAH WHY AM I HUGGING YOU?!" She shouted and let go of me, causing me to stumble down the floor. I caressed my back and mumbled small curses but both of us stopped when we heard a bone crack. I- I'm not that old!
She was staring at me with a mocking face and an annoying grin. "Don't look at me like that!" I growled in embarrassment and looked down until a hand gripped my arm and helped me stand up. "You're so clumsy!"
I huffed and glared at her. "Correction, Ms. Hwang. I wouldn't have fallen if you didn't push me!" I yelled back. "Well, I still helped you get up! A thank you would suffice, Ms. Jung." She took her jacket from the ground and looked at me fearlessly.
Then Yerin finally walked towards us.
"Would you please stop yelling-"
"Why would I say thank you? This wouldn't happen if you weren't acting so weird, cupping my face and all! An apology would be wonderful, Ms. Hwang." I didn't want to cut off Yerin's words but this girl needed beating. Verbally or physically, I don't care. She's so arrogant and I hate it.
"Just talk, stop shouting-" Yerin tried but obviously failed.
"Sorry? You don't deserve one!"
"Someone might hear you and call the Dean-" -Yerin again.
"I don't deserve it? Well, first things first, I think you may have forgotten that you pushed me on the floor at the rooftop, dragged me, and made me jump from a high building, teleported me here, and pushed me on the floor. You still think l don't?"
I was huffing for more air because I could feel my blood boiling even more when I heard Yerin again. "I sense something bad, please listen t-"
Bad?
