Erica was right. Thursday took forever but it was finally Friday.

"Hey baby" Erica said to Josh when she caught up with him

"Hey" he kissed her. "How were your past two nights?"

"Lonely. I can't wait for tonight. Just you and me. Alone. Together." She winked at him

"Mmm. You really know how to sweet talk a guy don't you." Josh laughed

Erica kissed him "Hehe, I guess I do"

"I know you do. I can't wait either."

"Really?"

"In the words of Erica Wallace, duh."

"Hey that's my word."

Josh laughed "I know."

They reached the school. " See you third period. Bye babe." Josh said

"Bye baby." Erica kissed his cheek and they parted ways.

"Hey girly." Josh hugged Erica and walked into class

Erica giggled "Hehe hiya."

"Mr. Simon absent again?"

"Yeah. That's the third time this week. He's never absent."

"I'm getting worried about him." Darren chimed in.

"Same." said Kye

"Oh well, another study hall." said Josh, optimistic.

"Very true." said Erica.

Michael walked in. "Look who finally decided to show up." said Josh.

"Hey Michael, I heard you got beat up by a girl on new years eve." said Kyle

Michael ignored him. He just looked over at Josh who smiled and shrugged his shoulders and Erica who was trying to act like she wasn't laughing. "I heard it was Erica. She kicked you in the balls and punched in the stomach and face hard enough to make your nose bleed." commented Darren.

"I thought you two were my friends." he said, getting angry

"Yeah well we thought the same about you until we heard what you did to Josh. Trying to make him jealous by kissing Erica." answered Kyle

"She came onto me."

"Do you want broken arm this time?" Erica asked "because you know that's not true."

"Dude you have got to be kidding me. I was there, you came onto to her and pulled her away from me and just kissed her. She didn't even acknowledge you before that." Josh had an edge in his voice. Erica looked in his eyes and he saw them They said 'calm down. You know I can take him.' He nodded.

"Dude first the kissing and now the lying? When are you going to realize it will never happen between you and Erica?" Darren questioned.

"I'm not lying." Michael was gettting defensive.

"Whatever dude. We believe Josh and Erica over you. They're real friends with us and wouldn't lie." said Kyle

"Thanks Kyle." said Josh speaking for both Erica and himself.

"And one more thing Michael,' Erica started, "how come Greg, Cole, ad Nick thought that I was cheating on Josh with you. As if tht would ever happen. Not even in your dreams." Josh now shot Michael a glare.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Josh shouted but all said quietly enough to not make a scene.

"I have no idea what your talking about." he said trying to brush it off.
