Today was the day after they came home from the cruise and Josh and Erica spent the day together. They hung out at Josh's house but were both prettty tired to go out and do anything, so instead they just laid around, listened to music and everything.
"Do you really think it could be Jaclyn?" Josh asked.
"Huh?" Erica was a little confused.
"Who sent the texts. Do you think it could of been Jaclyn if it wasn't Michael?" This was the first time that either of them brought up Michael's last statement to them on the cruise since being home.
"Oh. I don't know. Maybe. Like I don't understand why Michael would tell us it was Jaclyn if they were 'partners'. Things just don't add up."
"Exactly. But what if Michael really is teling the truth? Who could it be then if it's not either of them?"
"I don't know. No one else comes to mind. It can't be Cody, he was happy we started dating."
"So was Jaclyn." Josh said as if finding the answer. "It would have to be Cody."
"No. I don't believe that."
"Erica. Think about it. He always makes up an excuse when we ask him to hang out with us, he was different when we told him we wre together and when we first hung out on that Saturday. It's the only logical explanation."
"No. I can't believe that. Cody's a nice guy. He wouldn't do that."
"It's the only thing that makes sense."
Erica was quiet for a minute. She didn't know how to react. Josh was starting to make some sense but she didnt want to admit it. "Let's just wait and see what the results come back as on the lie detector test."
"Okay."
"So what do you want to do?" Josh's parents were home so they were home alone because Sylvia was at work.
"I got a couple ideas." Josh winked.
"Oh Josh. Fiesty."
"That's my specialty." He crawled across the bed and onto Erica kissing her neck. She couldn't help but laugh. She pulled his had up and put her lips against hers. He kissed her so fiercely, it was different then ever before. Erica didn't care, she wanted to get Josh of that topic and she did. Josh pulled away. "Erica, I'm serious about Cody."
"Mmm, wow you're a sweet talker."
"I'm serious."
"Okay. But please baby, don't worry about him right now. Our focus is on Michael with that and right now, my focus is on you."
Josh smiled and came back in and kissed her again. "I love you."
"I love you too."
They layed for a little while in silence with Erica's head resting on Josh's shoulder. Then Erica got a text from her dad saying that he got the ie dector and wanted to know when they would do the test. She asked Josh and then responded 'Saturday'. Her dad said okay. "We have to tell Michael tomorrow." said Erica
"Yeah. We'll tell him in english. Hopefully he'll be cool with it."
"He said he would be."
"I know but still."
"Don't worry. I'll make him."
"Very true. We all know not to mess with you." Josh laughed. Erica smiled.
"Exactly my point, so don't worry."
"Okay. I won't." He kissed her. Erica's phone vibrated. "Really?"
