"Josh wait!" Erica cried. Josh stood up and walked out of Isabella's house. Erica ran after him.
"Why? I can't believe you. I'm such an idiot. I let you trick me into actulally thinking that you love me." Josh shouted. They were on Isabella's porch.
"But I do love you!" Erica was crying and trying to grab him.
"Then why is this guy Blake saying that he loves you and wishes you were with him? It's like he doesn't even know about me. Does he?" Erica stood there in silence. "That's what I thought." Josh turned to walk away. Erica grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "What?"
"I wanted to tell him so many times, but I couldn't. He fell in love with me and I didn't want to hurt him."
"So you led him on instead?"
"I didn't want to. It just happened. I don't love him back. I only love you. You have to believe me!" Erica tried to fight through the tears.
"No, I really don't." Josh ran down the stairs and left. He headed back to his house. Erica just sat there on the porch in the frezing cold. It started to rain. Isabella came outside.
"Are you okay?" she asked sitting down next to Erica.
"No. How could I have been so stupid? I should of just told Blake that I had a boyfriend. Now that doesn't even matter." she said through the sobs.
"It's not your fault. He manipulated you. He told you that you were the reason he stopped cutting, you didn't want to hurt him by saying you didn't love him too."
"I know and I hurt Josh in return. The only one I want to be with. I know what I have to do. I have to tell Blake the truth."
"You don't have to."
"Yes I do. If I ever want a chance to get Josh back, I have to tell Blake that I have a boyfriend."
"Okay. It's your decision. I'm here for you no matter what you decide."
"Thanks Bella." Erica hugged her.
"No problem. C'mon, lets go inside before you get sick."
"No thanks. You go, be with your guy. I think I'm going to go home and just think."
"Okay, I'm here for you, you know that right?"
"I do. Thanks. I'll see you on Monday."
"Okay, bye."
"Bye."
Erica went home. She went to her room and laid down on her bed. 'How could I do this to him? I'm such a fricken idiot. I lost what means most to me in this world.' She checked her clock. It was five-thirty. She went down stairs and made soup for dinner. When she finished that she took a shower. Her parents called her when she got out.
"Hey." her dad said
" Hi dad. How's Italy?"
"Good. Your grandma's doing good also."
"That's good. You guys ar coming home Wednesday right?"
"Yeah. Is the house still standing?"
"Obvioulsy. That's why I answered the home phone." Erica laughed
"Right. Okay well I have to go. We love you. Bye."
"Love you too dad. Bye."
When she hung up the phone she went into her room. She searched through the contacts on her phone until she foud Blake's number. As she sat there, she stared at it for a little while until she sent him a text that says "I'm sorry Blake, but I have a boyfriend. I don't want to hurt you but I think you should try to find someone more local. I'm sorry." After she sent it, she cried herself to sleep.
