After the News Crew left, Kontororu headed for Ghost Town to catch Darkrai.

"Bad enough I've lost my other Pokemon and Zoroark," he griped. "I am not losing this chance to catch the King a second time," he added as he got out his last Pokeball.

It didn't look the same as the other ones as he had made it himself.

"I almost wish I'd used this on Zoroark, but then I wouldn't be able to catch King Darkrai at all," he said with a nasty smile. "And the best thing about this Pokeball is that once a Pokemon is caught, the enslavement cannot be undone. Which means, King Darkrai, you will still obey me even if I lose this ball or if it gets destroyed." And he laughed evilly all the way to Ghost Town.

"DUCK!!!" I screamed as Darkrai unleashed another Dark Pulse at us. Six of us had caught up with it in Ghost Town, and the other two had to go to the Pokemon Center.

"Holy Murkrow!!" one of the other Trainers shouted after we all ducked. "Just how strong is this thing?!"

I got out my Pokedex to check the status condition on Darkrai. "Oh man, we're in really big trouble!" I said as my stomach dropped.

"Why?" The Trainer laying down next to me and my sister asked.

"I'll put it this way," I began. "It would be easier to catch Arceus with a tennis net than it would be to catch Darkrai right now with anything!

"Are you saying that thing's so strong it maxed out it's level and reached Legendary Status?!" Crystal yelled.

"No! I'm saying it's stronger than Legendary Status!"

"What! None of our Pokemon are strong enough to take on a Pokemon like that! Let alone beat it!" Jack shouted from his hiding place across the street from us.

"Heads up!!" Jake and the other Trainer yelled at the same time; they were both hiding between some of the abandoned buildings.

Darkrai shot out more black spheres from its Dark Void. Those of us on the ground rolled out of the way while those still standing ran for cover between the buildings. Unfortunately, some of our Pokemon didn't get out of the way in time and got hit.

"Leavanny!" "Wobbuffet!"

After jumping in front of Leavanny after it tripped, Wobbuffet had tried to deflect Dark Void with Mirror Coat. It didn't work. Jake ran over to the sleeping Pokemon and got out a Lunar Wing to wake them up.

"Why didn't we think of that!" The first Trainer exclaimed after smacking himself on the forehead.

"Why didn't everyone else think of that?" was the second Trainer's reply.

Right after that, Darkrai again disappeared into the shadows. We all searched for it with our Pokedexes until Jake pointed to the sky. "Look! There it is!"

Darkrai was flying to the power plant as ominous dark clouds gathered. And adding to the effect, thunder and lightning could be seen and heard.

Vivillon had to keep dusting me after I scared away the Magnet Pokemon with my Roar attack.

"Please . . . tell those . . . Joltik to . . . hurry!" I said as I panted. Vivillon's dusting wasn't helping my anxiety, but it was keeping me from going crazy.

"I'll see if I can find out what's taking them so long," Breloom said. He hurried over to the roof's edge and looked out at the forest. "Uh . . . Your Majesty!" he called out with a note of fear in his voice.
