Jenna lives with her overbearing (and overprotective) grandfather. Years ago, her parents disappeared without a trace. While walking in the woods one day, she comes across an injured Zorua. After overcoming the shock of being able to understand what...
The Lunar Wings arrived just before dawn. Mrs. Tao opened up a box to show us after we woke up and got ready for the day.

They look like Leafeon tails, Zora signed.
*When Zorua is in her human form, she is known as Zora.*
Before leaving the bedroom, I told Zorua to transform into her human disguise; this time without her looking like she's wearing a Zorua costume, but a plain gray and blue outfit. I'm wearing torn jeans and a purple t-shirt with my hair undone and my bracelet hidden under my wrist guards.
Mrs. Tao phoned the academy yesterday, telling them about me and Zora. Here's the story:
Mrs. Tao has been teaching/tutoring a homeschooled student whose parents are constantly traveling. When she spoke to me and my parents, via video chat, about the opportunity for me to come to New World Island and enter the Island Relay, I grabbed it with both hands. But the condition was that I had to take my little sister, who can't speak, with me too.
Our parents are currently in the Kalos region and won't be here until after the Island Relay is over. Just before we got here, our mom gave me a Shiny Zorua she got from one of the Pokémon Breeders.
We arrived on New World Island on Friday. But because we weren't able to find Mrs. Tao, we got lost in the woods and spent Saturday night and almost all of yesterday camping in the woods until Officer Jenny found us and brought us to her house.
That last part is technically true, and I believe that when telling a lie or a story, it's better to end it with a truth to anchor down everything else.
"These Lunar Wings," Mrs. Tao began, "are from Canalave City in the Sinnoh region." She held up her hand when I was about to ask if she knew about the Lunar Wing Scam they had. "Yes, I am aware of the scam they had a few years ago. And I assure you, these Lunar Wings are genuine."
Zora took one out of the box and sniffed it. I've smelled a lot of Bird Pokémon before, but I've never smelled a Bird Pokémon like this.
"These Lunar Wings come from a Pokémon called Cresselia, and her feathers have the power to banish nightmares," Mrs. Tao told her. "Also, don't sniff things like that. People will start to wonder about you."
"I can say that you're playing around or trying to embarrass me. But if Kontororu sees you doing that, he's sure to think you're not human," I added.
Zora nodded her head and put the Lunar Wing back in the box. Mrs. Tao resealed the box and brought it and the others out to her car, with us following behind.
The ride to school was spent going over questions someone might ask us, plus avoiding Kontororu as much as possible. If we're unable to do that, we are to tell him as little about ourselves as possible and next to nothing about 'Jenna.'
