Inside the cave were the crystals I saw in my premonition dream and when I was shadow-spying. Crystal must have had either the same dream or vision because she had the same look of recognition on her face as I did.
"This is the Cave of True Reflections," Darkrai told us. "Follow me and I will lead you to a spot where we can discuss what has happened. What happened years ago. And what to do now. Furthermore," he added as he turned to look at us. "You will all be human again."
After that announcement, the twins, Hannah, Red, and Grandfather couldn't get there fast enough.
"As much as I'm enjoying flying around," Melody replied as she demonstrated said flying. "It would be more than great to have my hands back." She looked at her Pokemon hands when she said that. "And be the same size as everyone," she added. "I look like I belong on some little girl's tea party set."
"I'm not much taller than you, Mel," Red said. "But at least you don't have two mouths!"
"At least you girls aren't the size of a plush toy!" Grandfather replied.
"That reminds me," I said. "Where are Caleb and Jaxon?"
"They are already there and waiting for us," Darkrai answered.
"I can't wait to walk on my legs again!" Crystal exclaimed. "These stumps I have shouldn't even be called legs!"
"At least you don't need to be carried," I told her.
"You two are preaching to the choir," Hannah replied from Ben's shoulder. "But at least you all have legs!"
"So out of all the humans here," Gothita said after a moment of silence. "The only pure types are Crystal, Hannah, Caleb, and Jaxon while everybody else is a duo type."
"That's something that doesn't need mentioning," Ben said. "We've all been speculating on what and/or why we've become the Pokemon we are."
We walked for several minutes in silence before Darkrai stopped at a large mirror crystal. "Just go through here and you will all be human again."
"How is it that just by going through that mirror we'll turn back into humans?" Grandfather demanded.
"For some unknown reason, the room behind this crystal is forever connected to your world. You can not return there through it, but you can regain your human bodies."
Grandfather, Red, and Melody practically ran through the crystal mirror as Crystal propelled like a rocket. The rest of us casually walked through; after Jake put me down and I leaned on his shoulder for balance.
When Gothita saw what we all look like as humans, she blinked several times. She already knew what I looked like so that was no surprise, but my grandfather had her shrieking 'eep' and scurrying over to my side to hide behind my leg.
"Now I know why you thought he'd be a Beartic or an Ursaring," she whispered. "He's huge and intimidating!"
"You should see him when he's angry," I whispered back as I put my hair up. Luckily when we all changed back we got our clothes and stuff back too. However, I only had one hair tie so I had to settle for a high ponytail with six inches of my hair dragging the ground.
Toxicroak was sitting in between Caleb and Jaxon, who were giving each other the cold shoulder, as the rest of us were choosing a rock or something to sit on; some higher than others. Red and I were the last to find a seat and when we did the Catch-Up-Meeting began.
"Now," Darkrai began. "Where should we start?"
When no one came forth with a suggestion Jack offered; "How about we start with what happened after we all woke up as Pokemon then work our way backwards."
