Riverside Hollow wasn't as far as the Mantine brothers made it out to be. They stopped for a nap halfway there, but it was the middle of the night, and we were all still sleeping. We arrived at our destination after breakfast. We said goodbye to the Mantine brothers after paying them, and followed the trail to the small town.

I did remember to collect the leftover food from the party last night, so the only supplies we needed were items for battling, defense, and healing; my medical supplies can only do so much. I spent my time in town buying healing items while everyone else was asking for directions to Mystic Village. Strangely, once the villagers learned that I was in the World Fighters Tournament and that I beat Incineroar in one shot, they gave me everything we needed for free!

I guess that pompous fire cat has been nothing but trouble for everyone, I thought.

After we finished gathering supplies, we set off down the Greenwood Paths. We hadn't been traveling for long when Grovyle and the girls, except Zorua, confronted me about what happened last night.

"You said you would answer our questions in the morning," Gothita said in aggravation. "It's long past morning, so out with it!"

When I looked at everyone else, they all had the same determined expression on their faces; again, except for Zorua

When I looked at everyone else, they all had the same determined expression on their faces; again, except for Zorua. I sighed while she and I both sweat-dropped. "I'm not sure I can explain it," I told them.

"Try." They all said.

Another sigh. "It goes back to when I was two years old," I began before looking away. "Long story short, glowing in the dark is the reason I intended to come here and-"

"Wait a second!" Crystal exclaimed as she interrupted me. "You intended to come here?! To this world?! On purpose?!" She was shouting by the end.

Diane was just as bad. "Why would you even want to come to this messed-up world?! No offense," she told Grovyle and the other Pokémon. They waved it aside.

"Are you saying I should have stayed in our world while this happened?" I demanded incredulously. When I said 'this', I took off the cloth; even in daylight, I glowed. Though I'd have to be in the shade for everyone to see it better.

Now it was Crystal and Diane's turn to sweat-drop.

"A-are you saying that you would have started glowing like that even if you had stayed home in our world?" Diane asked hesitantly.

I nodded.

"But what about that cloth you've been using to cover your birthmark?" Crystal asked.

"A temporary fix," I replied as I tied it back on with my powers. "The only permanent solution was to come here and expose it to the moonlight as much as possible."

"You couldn't do in your world?" Gothita asked.

I shook my head.

"The moonlight here is stronger than it is in the human world," Zorua explained.
