(Jenna)
"Kid! You're going to be the death of me!"
I don't know who said that or why it sounded familiar, but it caused more cracks in the back of my mind and that roused me back to full consciousness. When I opened my eyes, I found I was a Gardevoir again. I was lying on my back. My ears had finally stopped ringing. And I couldn't move. (Shocker.) The sun was out wherever here is, and trees surrounded us.
Darkrai, without bandages, was hovering over me. The sun shone right behind him, giving the appearance of a halo. He had his arms folded and there was an angry glare in his eye. "Do you have anything to say to me, young lady?" he demanded, a growl in his tone.
I thought for a minute. "Um. . . . Did I . . . break anything . . ? Besides those crystals," I asked nervously.
That seemed to make Darkrai even angrier, but he answered; "Your bones are all intact. This time!"
I guess it was that crystal I felt break back at that battle. But then, why do I still feel cracks in the back of my head?
"Is that all you have to say?!" he practically shouted as he interrupted my thoughts. I wish I could have covered my ears for that.
"Don't blame Jenna for teleporting to that battle, Darkrai," Cresselia said. "That was my doing."
"I know," he growled. "I am angry at both of you!"
I could feel Cresselia sweat-drop. I sweat-dropped too and swallowed nervously. "So," I began. "What are you going to do to us?"
Darkrai got out a green crystal, the length and width of a human thumb, and held it in front of my face. "First," he began. "I am going to view everything that happened from the point in time when you said you wanted to look for General Shiftry, Zorua, and Elgyem to when I took you away from that battle."
Uh-oh, Cresselia commented nervously as Darkrai focused on the crystal he placed on the center of my forehead.
We heard and saw everything in a live flashback. There was a vein pulsing on Darkrai's head when he heard mine and Cresselia's plan. It pulsed even more when he saw what I did after I accidentally teleported to that ledge over the battle.
"In my defense," I said after the explosion. "I didn't know Zoroark's Pokeball would explode when I called him back."
"If I had known you still had his Pokeball, I would have warned you beforehand!" he told me as he facepalmed with that vein still pulsing.
After a moment of silence, I asked; "Why did the ball explode?"
"Whatever forces in your world that allow Pokemon to be trapped inside such small and confined spaces, do not exist here in this one."
After another minute, the live flashback ended and the green crystal disintegrated into dust that blew away in the gentle breeze that passed by. One minute passed. Then two. Before the third minute was up Darkrai yelled: "You let Malamar, of all Pokemon, see you!!!"
I winced and wished again I could've covered my ears. "You, yourself, said that he doesn't know what Pokemon I am, so why not show him that I'm the Shiny Gardevoir he's pinning for?!" I almost threw up in my mouth when I said that. "And besides," I added. "I couldn't get a grip on Zoroark's Pokeball unless I had human hands!"
"That wasn't Malamar who came after you! That was Darkness!"
That shocked me. "How do you know it was Darkness?"
"Because Malamar's eyes had changed color and they were glowing eerily."
"Just like Yveltal's?!" I gasped in realization.
