I was told that for the Bug Pokémon: Butterfree, Beautifly, and Vivillon, the courtship dances would be held during the day. While the Masquerain, Dustox, and Venomoth, plus the Volbeat and Illumise, dances would be at night when the moon was up. The Fish Pokémon: Luvdisc and Alomomola will be during the day, while the Finneon and Lumineon will be at night too.
The first two days and nights would mostly be them finding their lifemates, while the third night was the true celebration party with performers from all over the world. Including Mystic Village.
It was already evening. Grovyle and Meditite had completed their jobs, and they earned at least 650 poké. They later learned I had found two of my friends from my world, who were coming with us to Mystic Village. This means that we needed an extra 700.
I offered to sell some of the medicines I have left in my bag and one honey jar, but Meditite said no. "We still have a few more jobs to do tomorrow morning," she said. "If it's still not enough, then you can sell your stuff."
"You may not have to," Diane said. "While on the journey here, we had to go through something called a Mystery Dungeon. There were a lot of bags full of money, and we collected every bag we found."
She and Crystal got out those money bags and added them all up. (Just to be clear, when Zorua, Gothita, and I went through our Mystery Dungeon, we only found one bag of money- 50 poké - and three Oran berries.)
"450 poké," Meditite said. "We still need 200 more."
"The jobs tomorrow should bring us enough," Grovyle replied.
With that, we finished our dinner and went to watch tonight's courtship dances out in front of the hospital. Those crystals messed up my psychic powers so much that I was back to square one. Meaning I had to either propel myself forward or lean on Crystal's or Diane's shoulders while I walked.
Earlier that afternoon, after Drifloon told everyone I was awake, Zorua caught me up on what happened after I fell asleep. Crystal and Diane told me their story and then asked why I couldn't walk. After hours of catching up, especially after Grovyle and Meditite came back, we made a new plan to get to Mystic Village. And how to deal with Malamar and his bellheaded goons if we run into them.
Crystal and Diane weren't able to stay awake after the second set of couples found their life partners and danced to the Nuzleaf, Ludicolo, and Kricketune music.
I asked Zorua if she knew any of the Nuzleaf, and she shook her head. "They must live here," she said. "It's probably their friends or cousins who live in Dark Castle."
I was a little sleepy too. Not even the geyser that sprang up during the Volbeat and Illumise dances could wake me up enough to enjoy the show.
