(Zorua)
We were captured two days ago. Yesterday, Hoopa and I woke up. And before sunrise this morning, Jenna woke up. She had stopped crying a while ago, but she wouldn't talk to us or look at us. She just lay there, staring straight ahead, rubbing the corner of her pillow between her fingers.
That was the scene Mismagius, the Beheeyem, and Elgyem saw when they brought us breakfast.
"Don't even think of throwing this at me!" Mismagius practically growled as she set a tray of sliced apples glazed with honey down within mine and Hoopa's reach. "You will only make things worse for you and your friend if you do! By the way, is she awake yet?"
Hoopa and I glared right back at her, refusing to answer. However, that distracted us from watching Elgyem. He floated behind us and saw that Jenna was awake. "She is, Mismagius," he told her.
"Finally!" Mismagius exclaimed as she floated over to Elgyem. Hoopa and I jumped over Jenna to block Mismagius's view of her while taking fighter's stances.
"Once you have eaten, Miss Kigai," Mismagius said to Jenna in a nicer tone with a smile on her face. (A non-sincere smile, but not a mean, evil, or sinister one either.) "You and Lord Malamar can talk."
If Mismagius expected Jenna to answer, she would be disappointed. I could feel Jenna's rage coming off in spades at the mention of Malamar's name. It made all my fur stand on end. Literally.
"I said you and Lord Malamar can talk, Miss Kigai," Mismagius repeated a little louder. This time, her smile remained fixed, and she strained to stay friendly.
Elgyem and the Beheeyem must be sensing the same thing Hoopa and I were because they gathered around Mismagius, ready to take her away in a hurry.
Jenna stopped rubbing the pillow's corner, but she didn't look at Mismagius or the others, including Hoopa and me, and muttered something under her breath. Even I couldn't hear what she said, and I'm the closest one to her.
"Excuse me, could you repeat that?" Mismagius asked as her smile fractured. "I didn't hear you."
"That freak can take his talk and shove it!" Jenna repeated louder and through clenched teeth, still not focusing on anyone.
The Beheeyem and Elgyem quickly grabbed a stunned Mismagius and pulled her away while Hoopa picked me up and brought us as far away from Jenna as possible. (Which was behind her and by her feet.)
They had just taken her to the other side of our prison when she snapped out of it and shouted; "How dare you speak that way about Lord Malamar!" Her smile and friendly disposition were gone, and her true colors were showing. "He has suffered a great deal because of you-!"
"I GREW UP AN ORPHAN BECAUSE OF THAT MONSTER!!!" Jenna screamed with all her strength as she sat up and turned to Mismagius and the others, her voice echoing off the walls and ceiling, which caused all the crystals to shake. "You won't get any sympathy from me!" she finished as she twisted away from them and dropped back into her original position.
Mismagius and Beheeyem staggered disoriented with swirls in their eyes. Elgyem had moved as far away as possible from them before Jenna interrupted Mismagius, while Hoopa and I covered our ears.
"Furthermore," Jenna growled as the tray with the apple slices floated off the ground and flew straight at their heads, covering them, and Elgyem, with our breakfast. "I'd rather starve than accept anything from the likes of you!"
"That goes double for me!" "Me too!" Hoopa and I shouted before we spat raspberries at a very angry Mismagius, and worried Beheeyem and Elgyem.
The latter were trying to drag Mismagius away, but she wouldn't budge. "Grr! Fine!" she shouted as a large vein pulsed on her forehead. "Go ahead and starve! See if I care!" She made an about-face and left.
