(Y/n)'s POV

"Okay, so, I don't know how they're going to react to you. I've never brought a girl home for dinner." We were outside of Laurence's house and he was rambling. I laughed at how nervous he was.

"Laurence, it'll be fine. Can we please go inside now?" I grin.

"Yeah, Laurence! Don't leave your girlfriend out in the heat more than you already have!" I look up to see a girl with fiery orange hair and blue eyes peeking her head through a window.

Laurence looked up at her. "Cadenza!"

"Come on, Laurence. Just bring her in. It's not like we bite. We're not savage animals." Cadenza closed the window and disappeared.

Laurence sighed and opened the door. I walked into the house and looked around. It was nicely decorated.

"Hello! I'm Hayden! Laurence's father!" I saw Hayden walk up to me. He extended his hand.

"(Y/n), Laurence's girlfriend." I blushed a bit and shook his hand.

"He's told me alot about you." Hayden smiles.

Laurence closes the door behind us and greets his father.

Cadenza comes basically running down the stairs. "Hi! I'm Cadenza! Laurence seriously will not stop talking about you so it's about time he brings you over!"

Instead of a handshake, Candenza greeted me with a hug. This caught me off guard and caused me to get incredibly anxious. "Uh, h-hi."

She let go and smiled brightly. "Oh my god Laurence was right! You're so beautiful! I can't wait to have sleepover's with you and get to know you!"

I laughed nervously.

"Okay, Cadenza. You don't wanna scare her." I could basically hear the grin in Laurence's voice.

"Oh! Am I scaring her? I'm so so very sorry!" Cadenza pulled away from the hug and smiled at me. "It's nice to meet you."

I lightly smiled back at her. "It's nice to meet you too."

"(Y/n), I hope you like (favorite dish)! It's my specialty so I decided to make it for dinner tonight." Hayden says.

I grin. "Yes! I love (favorite dish)! It's my favorite!"

He smiles warmly. "Well then I'm glad I decided to make it tonight. Now, it's not ready yet but I'll call you three when it is. Make yourself at home."

I thanked him and looked over at Laurence. He was grinning.

"Do you want me to give you somewhat of a tour?" Laurence asks.

I nod. "Sure."

Laurence's house was fairly large. It had four rooms, three bathrooms, a large livingroom, a large kitchen and dining area and they had a huge backyard with a pool and a hot tub.

"Jeez, Laurence. This place is so nice." I say.

He shrugs. "Come on, let's go to my room. I wanna show you it, I cleaned it for a reason."

I laugh and let him lead me to his room. I was excited to see it.

When we walked in, I looked around. He had video game and anime posters on the wall. "Nice posters."

"Thanks." He grins and sits on his bed. I sit next to him and continue examining his room. I noticed that his wall was painted blue with small white stars here and there.

"What's with the childlike wall paint?" I ask.

He blushes and his face into the crook of my neck. "Hayden painted it like that when he adopted me. He thought it was cute for a little boy, I guess. I haven't painted over it yet. I don't think I will, though. It reminds me of the day I first came home."
