Chapter 3: Feb 2

(SHANNON'S POV)

I had gotten up early this morning, and was ready before my sister. I left before her, and took this chance to talk to Sheldon, as much as I hated him. I found him alone by his locker bay, which was yet to be opened. "Hey Jackass, I've got questions."

"And why do I need to answer them, dickweed?" He answered, calling me names, as per usual.

"Because you do."

"Fine, what is it?"

"Do you have a crush on Michaela?" I sighed.

"I don't want to answer that," His brows furrowed as his cheeks reddened. He hid his face and started walking off.

"Hey, hey! No. Get back here." I chased after him. "You need to answer my question right fucking now."

"Leave it, Shannon," He fired back.

"No. What, do you actually like her?"

"I said piss off!" He left me behind near a classroom.

"Okay, fuck you too, then," I yelled.

Dickhead.

(MICHAELA'S POV)

I was late for the bus this morning, so Shannon had left before me. After arriving at school late, I met him in care group and sat next to Kasey.

"So, what the hell was Adele going on about yesterday?" Kasey asked.

"She thinks Sheldon's got a crush on me," I rolled my eyes.

Shannon appeared in front of me. "Stop doing that! You're such a shithead," He always likes to scare me by doing that. "What do you want?" I asked.

"I talked to Sheldon about the whole crush thing, and he didn't want to talk about it. Not to me anyway," Shannon said, "So, I don't know. Do I ask Kat to talk to him, or-" I cut him off.

"Definitely can't be anyone he knows already, so that rules out anyone we've known since primary school," I said.

"What about Livia? I don't think Shannon knows Liv," Kasey jumped in.

"I kinda do, but Sheldon doesn't know her," Shannon said.

My care group teacher, Mr Small, interrupted us, "Shannon, stop sitting on the table, please. Actually, I need to talk to you," Shannon hopped off the table, and went to Mr Small, and they continued talking.

"That's a great idea, though."

The bell rang, meaning care group was now over..

Kasey, Adele and I went to our classes, and I met Livia at Home Eco Room 3 for food tech.

"Hey, Liv, how was your birthday? I'm so sorry I couldn't come," I asked. We were best friends in a sense that we would be those people who go to each other's houses, and do absolutely nothing.

"It was really good, thank you!" She said with a smile.

We did our usual thing of not listening to the teacher, and browsing Sprousehart stories on Wattpad.

I turned to Livia. "I have a favour to ask you. I have a friend who seemingly likes me, as in he might have a crush on me."

"Oh my god, are you for real?" She asked.

"I think so," I replied, "I can't believe it."

Livia and I were both bullied throughout primary school, no matter how hard Shannon tried to stop it. That's what first led me to believe that no one would ever like me, at least not romantically.
