Chapter 29: March 27
We were in the middle of a schoolyard, I was walking around with Livia, Adele and Kasey.
We were talking about Riverdale and some of our theories for season 3.
I noticed that Livia wasn't her normal self. She wasn't obsessing over Bughead, she wasn't talking directly to me, she didn't sound as happy as she usually did. I put my arm on her shoulder, "Is everything okay, Liv?" I asked.
"Yeah, I just... I can't be around you anymore." She replied.
"Did something happen between you and Kat?"
"No, no... I just... I don't know how to explain it..."
"Please, no, don't do what Sheldon did."
"Your anxiety, your depression, the constant crying, I can't deal with it!"
"You literally suffer from it as well!"
"That's the problem! I've had enough trying to deal with you, I haven't been able to look after myself!"
"Well, take some time for yourself! I can manage by myself just fine!"
Adele interrupted us, "Actually, Kasey and I need to go, as well... We've had enough."
"But, guys-"
"See ya, Michaela." She said as they left, Kasey had said nothing, but walked away with her, though she looked sad, like she felt guilt.
Livia and I watched as they walked away, before she spoke again.
"I'm really sorry, Michaela. I'm leaving."
"But Livia-" She walked away, leaving me alone in the middle of the courtyard.
Even Livia has left me.
Fuck this shit!
I'm done with this.
I might as well die.
---
Not fucking Livia too.
I got up out of bed, tears in my eyes, and stormed into the lounge-room.
Now I was just angry. The girl deals with the same stuff I do!
"Livia Rae! How fucking dare you!" I yelled with tears in my eyes.
She shot up. "What? What did I do? Why are you angry with me?"
"You abandoned me!"
"Fucking when?"
"It- it was a dream! But I'm still angry at you for doing that!" I stuttered.
"But why?"
"You said that you'd had enough, you couldn't deal with me, because you hadn't had time to look after yourself."
"Please, Micky. You are my top priority. Don't worry, I've had time to look after myself." Livia pulled me into a hug.
"Thank you, Liv..." I whispered, crying into her shoulder.
Sheldon entered the room looking very drowsy. "What's happening out here, why do I hear yelling? It's 6 in the morning!"
"She had a dream where I abandoned her." She said.
"You fucking what?"
She let go of me, walking up to Sheldon. "Don't you fucking start, you did the same thing."
