Chapter 22: March 20
It had been about three weeks since our situation with Kat. He was allowed out of hospital about a week after he was admitted. He still had scars, but they were healing pretty well, plus, he was eating normally again, which is always good. He also goes to school counselling a lot more, understandably. Every time I had class with Livia, she had a different Archie comic. I don't think she did actual school work most of the time, to be honest.
Sheldon and I didn't get many chances to sneak off at lunch, but when we did have a chance, we took it. Even if it took 10 minutes to find somewhere to hide, along with Sheldon being on crutches, so it takes longer, but it was worth it.
We celebrated our one month anniversary on the 5th of March. After school, we went out to the Botanical Gardens again, sitting by the small lake, watching the ducks, turtles and other small creatures. We listened to the trains pass by until sunset. We walked back to his house before I had to go home myself.
This morning I didn't have to get up as early as I usually do, I had a doctor's appointment this morning, so I miss out on the first half of school. At 9:30 mum took me to the clinic, so we could see if my ribs were getting any better.
"We got your x-rays back, and it looks like your all good to go. You don't need the support of the crutch anymore. No sport for another two weeks, okay?" He said.
"Okay. To be honest, I actually had to stop using my crutch after about two weeks, my boyfriend broke his tibia a few weeks ago, so I gave him the crutch while we went to the first aid at school."
"Broken Tibia? How's he going?"
"On crutches and in a cast for like, 4 months or something."
"That's expected. Anyway, as I said, you're all good to go. Hopefully, I'll see you at your next appointment, if you need one." We shook hands, left, and mum drove me to school.
"I'll see you tonight, mum." I hugged her and walked inside. I had to sign in before going to class. After I did that, I went to my locker, checked my timetable. It turns out I had Drama.
For drama we were doing children's theatre, and we were performing for prep students from the primary school. We were doing something along the lines of teaching the kids not to bully by performing a variation of The Ugly Duckling.
Period 4 was R.E. We were watching something about Moses for our next assignment. It was boring, and we were meant to be taking notes, but half of us weren't anyway, I was looking at pictures of Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart. There were times when I actually did take notes, but that was just so it looked like I was doing something, and not looking at pictures of Sprousehart. At least I have some notes. Maybe I won't completely fail this assignment.
At lunch, Sheldon and I spent ages in the library, reading through books and planning out our next date.
"Hey, we haven't been on a date in ages, where do you want to go?" I asked, closing the book I was reading.
"What about the movies? Certain movie that you want to see?"
"I want to see Ready Player One. I've read the book, I just need to see the movie now."
"Then it's a date! Tomorrow, after school?"
"Sure, I'll have a look at tickets tonight. Can't wait!"
Later we snuck off behind a classroom. I needed this, it had been too long since we had properly been able to hide and make out. He put his arms around me, our lips together, I bit his lip, causing him to breathe heavily. He brushed my lips with his tongue, I pulled him around, so I was on top of him, he was against a wall, I ran my hands through his hair, letting it fall between my fingers. We were interrupted when the bell went, which meant that lunch had finished, and we had English next. Which was disappointing.
Sheldon carries his bag around to make life easier for himself, we went to my locker so I could grab my books, and went to class. We were reading over Act 3, of course, Miss. Schumer assigned the roles, I was Juliet and Sheldon was Romeo, Livia was the Nurse and other students were Capulet, Lady Capulet, Benvolio, etc. Livia, of course, nearly screamed whenever Sheldon and I played our parts.
After getting out of class late, I had to go straight from my locker to the bus bays. I gave him a quick kiss goodbye before running off to my locker. I hastily shoved my computer and books into my school bag and sprinted to find Shannon. When I got home, I looked up the website for the cinemas. I found tickets for Ready Player One at 5pm tomorrow and printed them out, keeping them on my desk ready for tomorrow night. I came up with an idea and quickly texted my boyfriend.
Michaela: Hey Shel, do you want to stay overnight at my house tomorrow?
Sheldon: Sounds great, I'll check with mum first, though.
Michaela: Ok x See you tomorrow.
I closed my computer and texted Livia.
Michaela: Callll meeeeee Madddiiieeeeee
Livia: I can't T~T
Livia: What's up tho
Michaela: Imma goin out with Sheldon tomorrowwwwwww :D
Livia: YASSSS HOLY SHIT

Michaela: Him lol
Michaela: Jk, we're seeing Ready Player One
Livia: hahahaha nice
We texted for a bit longer before I had to go outside for dinner. Dad had started up the barbeque and was cooking sausages, rissoles and halloumi. God, I love halloumi.
