Chapter 11: Feb 12

I texted Sheldon this morning before waking Livia up, so we can get ready for school.

Sheldon: Hey Micky, how's it going?

Michaela: I'm good n you?

Sheldon: I'm good

Michaela: So guess what

Michaela: Mum ungrounded me after she finally realised how much of a bitch Bonnie is

Sheldon: Great!

Sheldon: Sooo, do you want to come back to my house after school tonight? I'm thinking we might go out for dinner, just us two

Michaela: Woo sure, can't wait :D

On the bus I showed Livia my conversation with Sheldon.

"I can't wait, honestly, I've been wanting to go out with him again for ages." I said, sighing.

"I don't blame you, Micky." Livia said.

I got the folders, somehow without dropping them, in one hand. It took forever to make it to care group, since it's on the other side of the damn school. Fucking building plans.

--

All my classes had gone smoothly, with a few students asking questions about what had happened on Thursday. That was, until period 3, when an announcement was put over the speakers, the lockdown code. I was in English, with Livia and Sheldon. We were all huddled under tables as per protocol for a lockdown.

"I wonder if this is just a drill." Sheldon said.

"I hope it's a drill..." Livia shakily sighed.

"They usually tell us if there is going to be a drill, though. So this means someone's probably broken into the school." I whispered. Livia started panicking next to me and I had to keep reassuring her that everything was okay.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Twice. Then a third time. I pulled it out of my blazer to see three messages on Instagram. Bonnie somehow found my instagram, and started messaging me.

BonFire: Where's your classroom

BonFire: I'm coming to find you

BonFire: And I'm coming for revenge

I showed Livia. "What the actual fuck?" She said, bewildered.

"I know, right? She's coming to find me because... Why? She's the one who broke my ribs, and insulted me in the first place. Honestly, I should be the one going out for revenge. I choose not to though because I'm not insane."

Livia went wide-eyed, "Maybe she's back on drugs? You know how she used to take drugs in the bathrooms?" I nodded. "She might be back on them..."

A few minutes passed, it was dead silent. We see someone's shadow walking past the classroom. There was a loud knock on the door. No one answered. There was another knock. No one answered. The next second we heard what sounded like someone unlocking the door, and that was probably what was happening. Whoever it was, was picking the lock with a hair pin. The door swung open.

Of course, it had to be Bonnie.

"Oi, Amiri... I know you're in here!" She stood in the middle of the room, a psychotic smirk on her face. She looked under the tables and ignored the other frightened students. Then she got around to our set of tables. She dragged the table off from above me.

"Come on," she said. "or are you too scared to fight me again?"

"For fucks sake." I muttered and stood up, leaning on the crutch. "Why are you coming after me? The best I could do going up against you was punching you in the jaw and nose, that's it. You broke two of my ribs, I should be the one coming after you!" I felt sick as I spoke, my whole body was violently shaking.
