" Hiya Hayden. Didn't expect you to be here " Hagrid exclaimed as I entered his hut.

" I felt I should apologize for my cousins. They're toads. " I said sitting down on a giant arm chair.

" Lucius is just trying to protect his son. " Hagrid countered.

" because Draco can't handle a few scratches. He's a total pansy " I argued. Harry Ron Hermione and Daphne all nodded their heads.

" I'm really sorry Hagrid " Daphne cried.

We kept on talking for a few minutes until something hard hit the back of the head.

" bloody hell " I cursed rubbing my head. We all turned to see where it came from but don't see anything.

Hermione picked it up and started examining it. But as she did another pebble came and shattered a bowl.

We turned to see who threw it but no one was there. But we did see something scary.

" they're here early " Hagrid muttered. " you guys have got to get out of here. "

We all rushed out of the back door and hid behind Hagrids giant pumpkins. The invisibility cloak wasn't big enough to cover all five of us.

In a horrified trance we snuck around and ran up to the castle. The sun was setting fast.

Suddenly Ron stopped running.

" oh please Ron " Hermione begged.

" it's Scabbers- he won't- stay put- " Ron mumbled trying to keep scabbers in his pocket. He was squeaking madly and trying his best to get away.

Ron was paying attention to his rat but the rest of us were watching Hagrids hut.

We saw the axe go up in the air and swing down chopping something.

Hermione buried her head in Ron's chest.

" they did it. " she whispered. " I d-don't believe it. They did it! "

Suddenly Ron let out a yell.

" he bit me- Scabbers bit me. " Scabbers was running across the grounds when Daphne nudged me.

A black dog was running towards scabbers.

" Dad " I breathed. His jaws wrapped around Ron's outstretched arm. Harry jumped forward and grabbe some of dads fur but dad was dragging Ron away.

" help me! " Ron yelled. I was about to transform when something hard hit my stomach and lifted me in the air.

I heard Harry Hermione and Daphne yell too. We had chased my dad to the Whomping Willow. I got up to my feet and transformed into the fox.

I chased my dad and Ron into the Whomping Willow. I heard the three of them calling after me but I continued chasing after my dad and Ron.

I heard Ron's yells and dads growls. I followed them to a room that was old and broken.

I saw my dad transform back into a man and stare at Ron. Ron had a look of horror on his face as I walked up to him.

I transformed back into my usual self. Ron gaped at my dad.

" daddy " I whispered. I ran into his open arms. He cradled my head as if I were a baby.

" Puppy. Oh I missed you so much. " he breathed.
