Chapter 41:) Daphne and Phillip

•••Daphne's POV•••

" Phillip! " I called. His head shot to me.

" hey! Ready for our date " I walked up to him.

" sure. As soon as you take off the badge. " I snapped. His face fell.

" well I'm not taking it off. " I scowled at him.

" Potter Stinks. Does that mean Harry or me because I'm a Potter too " he rolled his eyes.

" don't take everything so personal Daph. " he said.

" Harry is my little brother. It wasn't his choice to enter. So take off the badge. " I held out my hand. He gave me a dry look.

" no. Draco's the one making the badges. Go yell at him " he started walking away from me but I chased after him.

" Draco isn't my boyfriend! And guess what? You aren't either. " I snapped. I stormed away from him.

" wait Daph! " He chased after me but I slammed the portrait door in his face.

I ran all the way to Gryffindor tower.

" Hayden! " she opened her bedroom door. I could tell she knew I was upset because the next thing she said was:

" come on up " I ran up the stairs and into her bedroom. My red hair flew behind me. " what's wrong? "

" Phillip is a brat " she stared at me solemnly, waiting for me to continue. " he refuses to get rid of the 'Potter stinks' badges. "

" dump him " she said simply. I bit my lip and nervously stared at Hayden.

" I did " she raised her eyebrows in surprise, obviously shocked . " he was making fun of my little brother "

" okay Daphne. Um... good for you. If he does that then you shouldn't be with him. " I nodded. I looked her up and down.

" well you look hot " She nodded.

" well Cedric said he was taking me out and to dress up. " I frowned at her.

" I was supposed to go out with Phillip. " tears started flowing down my cheeks.

" I'm not going on this date am I? " I sobbed even harder. " okay okay. Let me go get into something comfortable. "

I nodded and hugged her sheep pillow. Hayden got dressed into something a little softer.

We sat down on her bed and started talking. She tried her best to get the subject off of Phillip and luckily she was successful.

" have you talked to Harry today? " she asked. I shook her head.

" he's been avoiding me " I stated. She frowned " he knows about the badges and whenever I've seen him I've been with my friends. "

" didn't he tell you about the first task? " I shook my head. " he told Cedric right before Charms. They're both really freaked. "

" is Harry the one who split Cedric's bag? " she nodded. " I had to put it back together for him "

" so the first task. What is it? " she stared at me nervously.

" dragons " I gasped. I jumped off her bed and ran towards Harry's room.

I heard Hayden following me.

I busted open his door and stormed in.

" dragons? You didn't tell me you were going against dragons! " I yelled. Harry stared at me.
