" that's a low blow " Daphne and Cedric started laughing as I scowled at them.

" no wonder people are afraid of you " Daphne said through her giggles. I flopped myself on my bed and hid my face with my pillow.

" oh come on Hayden we're just joking " Cedric said rubbing my back. I growled.

" why are my only friends so mean to me? " i asked. Cedric pulled me up and wrapped me in a hug. I didn't reciprocate it.

" we love you Hayden " Daphne said sitting on Alicia's bed. I scowled.

" like a toothache " they both chuckled. Suddenly the door opened and in walked Angelina and Alicia.

" hi Cedric. Daphne. Hayden " Angelina said. Her tone dropped when she said my name. I rolled my eyes.

" hi Angelina " Daphne said. Cedric let go of me.

" Cedric I've been meaning to talk to you. Can I get some Herbology help. I'm not very good and I need to raise my grade. " Angelina said. She came and sat extremely close to him. He had to scoot over which made me scoot over.

" I don't know. I'm pretty busy tutoring Hayden " she frowned.

" well does she really need all that help? Can't she manage without you? " Angelina asked. She batted her eyelashes and leaned in.

" no I promised I'd help Hayden. " Cedric said scooting closer to me. She frowned.

" she can handle herself. Please. I really need help. I went from an A to a D. How does someone go from an A to a D? " she asked.

" happened to me in third year " I mumbled under my breath. Cedric buried his head in my lap to keep himself from laughing out loud.

I chuckled as he sat up. His entire face was red.

" so can you help me? " Angelina asked. He shook his head.

" I can't. I'm helping Hayden get caught up. " he said. I felt him entwine his fingers with mine. It shocked me but I liked it. He was warm. Feeling his skin sent tingles down my spine. That's weird.

" fine. Have fun with your hoe " Angelina stood up and before we could do anything ran out of the room.

I felt Cedric's fist clench.

" just ignore her Ced. " I told him. He nodded and took deep breaths.

" fine. Have fun with your hoe " Angelina said. She quickly ran out of the room. My fists clenched. I was pissed.

" just ignore her Ced " Hayden told me. I nodded and took some deep breaths. I let go of her hand and rested my face in my hands. I wanted to strangle Angelina. Hayden is the sweetest ( somewhat dangerous ) person on earth.

" Cedric you look like you're going to kill someone " Daphne said. I glared menacingly at her. " probably me "

Alicia giggled. Hayden smiled softly.

" what do you guys want to do? " Hayden asked. We all shrugged. She turned to Alicia and grinned. " hey Alicia you're new. You choose "

Alicia's eyes widened. Daphne leaned over and started whispering to her.

" what're they doing? " Hayden whispered to me. I shrugged. Alicia nodded and turned to face us.

" we're playing truth or dare " Hayden groaned.
