" hey you're back " Hayden said hugging me tightly at the train station. I nodded and lightly reciprocated the hug.

Step two.

" yeah I'm back " I spotted Daphne behind her. " Daphne! "

I let go of Hayden and walked over to Daphne. She turned to face me.

" hey Cedric! " I wrapped her in a giant hug. I lifted her off the ground and spun her around. I heard her giggling.

" I missed you " I said setting her down.

" I missed you too " she smiled at me.

" hi Daph! " Hayden came up behind me. She hugged Daphne tightly. " I missed you "

" I missed you too Hayden " she said. She turned back towards me. " how was your holidays Cedric? "

" great. And yours? "

" superb " we grinned at each other. Hayden had a confused look on her face.

" well you two need to get your trunks.  I'll get us a carriage " Hayden said.

" oh I was going to ride with Phillip, Gabriel and Ethen. " I said walking away. She followed me.

" you weren't planning on riding with me? " she asked.

" no not really. I was planning on riding with the boys in Hufflepuff " I said as if it was obvious. The look of hurt on her face killed me.

" oh... ok. Um... what about you Daphne? " she asked.

" I'm riding with Gretchen, Rebecca and Merida. Sorry Hayden " Daphne said. Hayden nodded.

" oh... okay. Cool " she said. She was shivering. It was freezing outside. " I am freezing.  Can I borrow your jacket Cedric? "

I was about to take my jacket off when I stopped myself.

" then I'll be cold " I said. She stared at me and nodded.

" oh. That's fine " she mumbled. Before I could say anything else she walked off. I sighed.

" that was so hard " I breathed leaning my back against the train.

" question! Why do I have to cut her out also? " Daphne asked.

" uncle Jonathan said she needs to feel lonely. "

I need a Xanax.

" what about the twins and Dreads? Don't expect the twins to help unfriend zone you " I nodded.

" no I expect George to be a jerk to me for treating Hayden this way " I said. Daphne frowned.

" yeah. Well come on let's go. " Daphne muttered. I grabbed both of our trunks and we started towards the carriages.

" hey " Hayden said as she sat down beside me. I nodded acknowledging her but then turned back to Phillip. She poked my sides.

" can I help you? " I asked.

" you haven't really talked to me ever since you got back. I just wanted to know how your vacation was. Did you get my gift? " I nodded.

" yeah. Thanks " I turned back to Phillip. " so I heard it's going to be Bulgaria and Ireland "

" it is. My cousins brother in law is Aidan Lynch. He couldn't wait to tell us at Christmas dinner. " I gaped at him.
