I set the picnic basket on my desk as Hayden shut the door. I sighed and ran my hand through my hair as I turned to face her.

She was leaning against the door staring at me. I felt my mind go blurry as she bit her lip softly.

I slowly walked toward her and grabbed her hand.

" you okay baby? " I asked before gently kissing her hand. She nodded and continued staring at me.

" I'm fine. " she replied. I smiled. " I am better than fine. "

" well that's good. " she nodded and glanced down at my lips. She slowly started to lean in. She didn't stop until our lips slowly and softly met.

At first it was as if she was scared of kissing me. She was really gentle. But then it was like she found home and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I grabbed her bum and pulled her close to my body. She slowly broke apart the kiss.

" you alright love? " I asked. She nodded.

" can you just hold me right now? " she whispered wrapping her arms around my waist and hugging me. I nodded and wrapped my arms around her shoulders.

She buried her head in my chest and inhaled.

" sorry. I guess I'm just a little tired. " I nodded.

" dinner doesn't start for another thirty minutes. Why don't you take a small nap? " she nodded and walked over to my bed.

I chuckled as she kicked her high heels off and sighed. She pulled down her skirt and tights and climbed in my bed.

" I still want you to hold me. " she mumbled. I chuckled and walked over on the other side of my bed. I ripped off my shirt and climbed in the bed beside her.

She rolled over and pressed her body against mine. She hugged me tightly as she rested her head on my chest and lazily rested a leg over mine.

I could feel her cold skin. She was always cold. I hugged her tighter.

" this right here... " she whispered softly. " I think it's the best birthday present I've ever gotten. "

I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

" get some rest baby. " I whispered. She nodded and five minutes later I heard her snoring on my chest.

" the Durmstang champion is... Viktor Krum. " we all politely clapped as he walked in the door behind the staff table.

I was sitting next to Hayden, Daphne and the Hufflepuff boys in my year Gabriel, Ethen and Phillip.

The boys knew why I was nervous. I had put my name in yesterday.

I gripped Haydens hand tighter.

" ow! Cedric. " I looked at her. " you're hurting me "

" sorry " I mumbled letting go of her. She scowled.

" who said you could let go? " she snapped. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her pulling her into my body. She smiled and made herself comfortable.

" the Beauxbatons champion is... Fleur Delacour. " we looked over and saw a tall, beautiful girl walk over.

" you okay baby? " she asked. I nodded and quickly pecked her lips. She smiled and turned back to the goblet.
