Jeongguk was 11 and Taehyung was 13 when Taehyung first refused to hold Jeongguk's hand.
They were like any other day walking to school together from the bus, but as they reached their school gates, Taehyung quickly shook Jeongguk's hand from his. Jeongguk being then stubborn one reached out for Taehyung's hand again but Taehyung pulled his hand before wrapping his arms around his waist.
"Why are you not holding my hand?" Jeongguk had asked angrily stopping Taehyung. Taehyung had sighed before he bent down slightly because Jeongguk was short at that time, to explain that boy's shouldn't hold hands, it's wrong. Taehyung didn't feel it was wrong but he only did this because a guy in his class laughed on his for holding another guy's hand.
Taehyung was coward, nothing else.
Jeongguk had held in his tears that time but cried his eyes out after reaching home, he was comforted by his mom who said it was just a part of growing up and he will get use to it.
Jeongguk was 11 when he was sure about that he will never get used to not holding Taehyung's hand.
