Jeongguk was 22 and Taehyung was 24 when Jeongguk had proposed Mina.
He had been caught up in the heat of the moment, Mina had thrown a extravagant party for Jeongguk's birthday and had gone out of the way to see that everything was perfect. Jeongguk and been beyond happy and surprised when he came home to it.
As he was cutting the cutting the cake, Mina had stood beside him and asked him to make a wish. He looked up, his eyes flitting over Taehyung and Minjae holding hands tightly with Minjae's head on Taehyung's shoulder, they both had looked happy, contended and for once Jeongguk had wanted that for himself too. So, he asked Mina to marry him, in front of all the people, in front of Taehyung whose smile turned into a frown unconsciously.
