Jeongguk was 10 and Taehyung was 12 when their parents took them out to watch a movie with them.
Jeongguk and Taehyung were obviously insuperable throughout and and held hands while watching the movie became Taehyung was scared of the dark but he had too much of an ego to admit that in front of Jeongguk but Jeongguk knew, he knew knew the moment the older boy starting shaking his legs unknowingly, nervous. So Jeongguk just held Taehyung's hand without actually looking and Taehyung and Taehyung never felt more grateful.
Jeongguk asked his parents after reaching home about the act the male lead did by attaching his lips to girls. Jeongguk's mom blushed and his dad pulled him on his lap explaining that it's called a kiss and telling him that it's only done with someone whom you love to which Jeongguk innocently asked if he can kiss Taehyung because he loves him and his dad shaked his head saying friends don't do that lovers do.
