Forbidden: Chapter 5

Abbie's POV:

after Colton walked in, my blood was boiling. I didn't ask him to switch his classes, I didn't want him to switch his classes, and I certainly didn't expect him to switch his classes at any point in time. i just glared at him, and finally he caught on.
"why're you looking at me like that?" he whispered to me. I kept glaring.
"abbie!" he said a bit louder. kept glaring.
"abb-"
"Colton, would you like to give the class an answer?" Mr.Daniels said testing Colton.
"um will you repeat that?" he said giving that charming smile that won over anyone.
he repeated the question and of course Colton knew it off the top of his head. every girl had to want him, yet he wanted me. and I couldn't stand it. I knew hayes was mad, you could tell by the way he kept clenching and unclenching his fist. I was in deep crap, and I didn't know how i was gonna get out.

50 minutes later, Colton rushed me out before I could say a word to hayes and got me in the car.
"why were you glaring at me like that?" he said immediately after shutting his door.
"why did you switch your classes?" i shot back. I could feel an argument brewing.
"because I love you." I wanted to scream ew stop, but I held back.
"you should've asked me." I say looking straight at him.
"why are you so touchy about this? it's not like i did something terribly awful." he was getting annoyed, and a tad upset. he couldn't stand arguments with me.
"you should've asked me."
"well i didn't, and I'm just sorry but there's not a thing you can do about it now, so just shut up about it!" he almost yelled. he was angry now.
"do NOT tell me to shut up! you don't know how mad that made me! you should've asked me and I don't take it as a sweet gesture or whatever you wanna call it! i take it as an overly attached boyfriend!" i shoot back. his facial expression softens, I was too harsh. he's upset now.
"get out." he says without looking at me and starting the car.
"excuse me?" i say, obviously offended.
"you heard me, now get out of my car."
"fine, I don't wanna ride home with you anyways. goodbye." i say slamming the door of his precious mustang. he gritted his teeth and now his face turns red, you can tell even through the tinted windows. he is more than mad now. i smirk and walk back towards the building. right as I'm taking my phone out to call my mom to pick me up, hayes drives up.
"need a ride, pretty girl?" he says smiling.
"look at you, always there to save a damsel in distress." i say opening the door and smiling.
he laughs and we drive away, blasting ed sheeran's hit song Tenerife Sea. I tell him everything as we take a drive around town.
as we arrive at my house, Colton's sitting on my front porch. when he sees hayes, he gets up and heads towards the car with anger in his eyes.
this isn't going to end well.
